@@mr6156 I found Kolinga through an artist on Instagram @eimqo, who animated Kolinga’s newest song Mama (Don’t Let Me). I follow a lot of artists and animators on Instagram. You’re parents are from Batak?! Wow. Apparently my village Petrich (in Zlatitsa Municipality not the one near the Greek border) was also involved in the April uprising of 1888. However, my mother is from Vidin and my father was born in Varna, but I don’t think his family is from there. I think they’re from central Bulgaria. I’ve taken dna tests to better understand what regions my family is from, and I was overall very curious… since I’m adopted, I only knew where my parents were born and where I was born. I didn’t know anything about their family history or anything. I discovered my mother is half Serbian too.
