Finally someone who’s at least 2 inches taller than me does a solid review on this car. At one point I was looking at one of these to daily drive, but I was skeptical because of the headroom but you clarified it. Thanks 🙏
Looking to purchase a 2014 Mazda 2-sport/GX, 94000 miles, $6400. Some sources say it has not had any recalls and some say it has. Do you know which is the correct information? I drive an average of 7 to 10 miles a day, and just need a car that is safe and does not come with a lot of mechanical issues and expensive repairs. Do you think this is the car for me?
If the recall information is mixed, it was probably a very minor recall. To my knowledge, recalls tend to address the root issue successfully, and dealers will rectify them for free, so I wouldn’t worry too much about them.
So you are reviewing a car but you don't know what over drive is... I mean... I guess you can do whatever you'd like but you don't seem to know very much about cars.
I do know what overdrive is, but at the time, this was the first car I had driven with overdrive. I just didn't recognize while I was driving this car that I had turned overdrive off.
also, I would like to defend myself in that if you have only seen this video, I'd argue that messing one or two things up isn't adequate proof that I don't know much about cars. Sure, some people know more than I do, but I never claimed to know everything about cars. We all mess up.

this is an awesome review! i have the mazda2 manual, just borrow it for those backroads :p
Interesting I find the 29mpg in the city very appealing and yes I will love to buy the 5 speed manual
I have a 2011 with 5 speed. Love this car. As much fun as my Miata, and at times more fun.
It's great to hear from someone with a manual one of these! It sounds like so much fun.

Thanks for this. Any thoughts on how this car would handle occasional trips up NC mountains?
I think that would be great fun. Personally, the best way to go up mountains in this car is in the manual configuration. That would be incredible.
great video. thank you for making this. i liked it more because you locked yourself in the trunk haha
ughh i want this car so bad.. but it doesnt have a center arm rest....
Haha I know it's a shame, they should've put one in the car
but ive seen some reviews with one???
+ThrillRider247 really? I guess I haven't watched enough reviews to notice that
I am guessing the O/D off thing is a joke...
Haha it is, but it did actually make the car much more responsive and I would absolutely drive with it turned off!
should I get one..its $12000...w 17000 miles....in 2019. : /
sorry for not replying sooner...

Fair enough.
