I actually own this monitor for over 6 months now.
It is a great monitor!
Excellent review Alex, well presented as always (very handy to know all the bits and pieces that come in the box)! This certainly looks like an attractive product and the display looks beautiful (and sounds like it's even more impressive in person). The fact that it's calibrated and checked multiple times by the manufacturer before it's shipped also adds impressive value.

@@mcphoney just came here from your cone pizza video and I am really enjoying your content but I have a question, it's been 7 months since you uploaded a video so I'm wondering if you have quit RUclips?
I got this Monitor for 300€ instead of 600€ from eBay. It came in the orinal Box but had a terrible color shift. So I only used it uniformity Mode for about a year. No color shift at all but the contrast even in rec.709 is so low, color grading became difficult. So I switched back. But now the color shift is almost completely gone. Greysclale looks grey in all brightness modes. I don't habe the original receit since its from eBay but viewsonic still seems to be aviable to exchange it for me. Im not sure if I should do it but maybe I will.

Just bought mine off Amazon. The screws are missing out of the box they were no directions to box look like it had been opened. And lastly I cannot get the sound to work
The sound?
This model has no built-in speakers.
You should check your speakers output configuration in Windows sound control panel. Maybe the audio output has been switched to ViewSonic, instead of your default output.
