I was there for the Aristides. When they were walking around the paddock the walker saw me with my camera and stopped Fog right in front of me. I got an amazing picture. I will always love Lost in the Fog. RIP sweet angel
2005 Eclipse Champion Sprinter Track Records: BM-6f = 1:07.32; TuP-6.5f = 1:13.55. Euthanized 9/17/06 due to inoperable cancer. His ashes are buried in the infield of Golden Gate Fields racetrack where he was stabled. He is buried next to Silky Sullivan. Thanks for upload.
That incredible Lost In The Fog was as great as they come. He ran everywhere, won everywhere and was fast as any. He was a stamina sprinter. RIP precious champ.
LITF must have been hurting for long time in order for that cancer to grow to a football size. It means he was still trying to run his best even there is pain from that cancer spreading along his spine. But horse couldnt talk, n no trainer will have the foresight send him for health screening. Sad n painful ending for LITF. Cancer is such a painful slow killer, ... so sad. Tks 4 good video upload.
@@paulsherick1979 he started losing at the end of his career.....it all made sense when they figured out why because when he was healthy he's the greatest sprinter I've ever seen

Any idea whether his remains were exhumed when GGF was permanently closed down for redevelopment ?
