Everyone has their own opinion and I respect that but saying that his singing here is bad is straight up a lie, of course Tetsu sounds better because this song was made for his voice and they have different voice types but Gackt voice here is fucking great
right! i absolutely love how Gackt sang this song, of course Tetsu will be better cause it's original but no need to hate on him for singing a song meant for the previous vocalist. Gackt did a great job here

i love gackt's voice but baroque REALLY doesnt fit him at all.. they couldve done a different melody that fits gackt's voice better but kept the instrumental, like they did with klaha's version of kioku to sora. the three malice mizer vocalists have very different voices from each other and if one of them sang a song originally sang by one of the other three then it wouldn't fit their voice, if you played the instrumental of a song from a certain malice mizer era then you'd easily be able to tell which one it was from(excluding the songs from the gackt era that were either originally for tetsu or have parts of the instrumental from songs of the tetsu era. but they probably still added changes for it to fit gackt more). so if tetsu or klaha sang au revoir or le ciel, it wouldn't fit since those songs are tailored specifically for gackt

actually I think if the instrumental part was fixed to suit Gackt, the quality was better and Gackt had been HIMSELF, instead of trying to be like Tetsu, then it might be more pleasurable to hear ^^
