Expensive? Health IS wealth
When you combine fat and meat with fasting, you save even more $$$ 🤠
Carnivore seems expensive at first, but when you walk through a store and realize all the junk that you’re not putting in your cart it’s actually crazy how much you save.
😊😊😊
I'm 64 , I spend less on food now than I did 10 years ago even with inflation. I buy meat in bulk on sale for the month. And I don't spend money on desserts any longer. I don't eat out. I eat to live now.... not live to eat .,

And no waste! I never throw food away anymore. Before I used to have vegetables rotting in the crisper on the regular because I just couldn't eat them fast enough.
You couldn't work out to buy less veg ?
Exactly how I was before. Even donuts and bread get dry and tossed. But with carnivore I know exactly what I will eat each day and absolutely zero waste. Can we consider that going green. 😂😂😂😂😂

Yes, recklessly buying poisonous plants that kill sooner than later.

No fast food. No delivery. No restaurants.

You could use the same logic when going vegan...
@@JafmanzThere is no logic to these carnivore claims .
Imagine comparing eating a steak at home to drinking out with mates and thinking apples are expensive.😂
But if you were vegan, you end up spending so much on medical bills from all the injuries of people walking all over you.
I just opened the Walmart app. Eggs net you 228 cals / dollar. Ground beef 425. Butter 800. Rice... 2900. Proving that not being on carnivore is cheaper.

My grocery Bill is less now eating carnivore than it was 5 years ago and I don’t know anyone else personally that can say that considering inflation.
I used to spend every week about $12 each on things like fruit, chips, cookies, juice and beer that I would consume on top of my meals. Now $12 of chuck and some butter is all I need for a whole day of food.
We save a small fortune on carnivore and we get our meat delivered to our home with Costco. We only go to the grocery store for eggs, butter, bacon and sometimes cheese. Makes shopping a breeze. 🇨🇦💝🇺🇸🥩🙏
You also don’t have to be eating steaks all the time on carnivore. I only eat ground beef because that’s what I can afford. 20+ years a vegetarian and now a carnivore eating ground beef and I’ve never felt better. 🤷♀️
I'd rather eat hamburger than steak that you can't chew. You have to spend big money for steak that cuts like butter.
@@jimbeam2705 many tougher steaks just need to be cooked longer on lower heat, and you can always cut them smaller (against the grain) to make them easier to eat. Not to mention they are often quite flavorful. Chewing is good for you too.

Thanks Dr. Baker for showing Kerry from Homestead How!! I think he is helping to spread the healing benefits of carnivore. I actually save money over what I use to spend on food and snacks!! I'm no longer ALWAYS HUNGRY!!
So crazy that folks don't get it. When they say it's so expensive i say ok, pay now or pay later with you're health they still don't get it. Totally not expensive when you cut out all other junk. At worst it cost the same. And you'll feel better. Health is health and the numbers don't lie!!

You can also remind them of the poison that is in their foods they do eat when they say, "but I eat very little of this or that..) Remind them about the ingredients they consume are in just about everything on a shelf and the frozen food sections. So, you aren't eating just a little of it, in fact you are consuming it on a large scale when the poison is in everything you do eat. Dare them to sit down and actually read the ingredients on all the items they consume and then look them up. Its rather simple. When buying water, should contain just water with nothing added. You’ll only spend more if you’re buying the most expensive cuts of meat. If you want ribeye everyday, then shop the markdowns to make it affordable. Otherwise, it’s so easy to make eating mostly meat extremely cheap. Aldi carries grassfed butter, as do the warehouse clubs. Ethnic grocery stores carry lots of frozen meat and ghee.

Well said. If you really do the math and look at how much expenses are being cut out of your budget when you only eat meat then it's less expensive even if you eat steak all the time. You save even more when you break that up with roasts, ground beef, and other cheaper cut of meat.

I'm a three rib eyes a day man. I'm far too active to eat only once because I feel great all the time eating like this as you guys know and I just feel like being on the go constantly. It costs me £15 a day. I drink a glass of raw milk with my meal and before I go to the gym too. I find I can go harder with some carbs in me having experimented about a bit. I can't do regular dairy, the uht process just mashes my stomach up, I get terrible wind. It's like my body gets confused like "I think it's milk but....... "it's not pleasant. I NEVER think about food, it takes up ZERO cognitive room. People don't realise the brain power they waste just pondering food imo. I'm 7% body fat effortlessly and today I've worked out in the gym chest, swam and had a sauna and then when I got home I decided to use a vacuum cleaner thing I've rented to wash all my carpets. I definitely had a problem with drinking my calories, so the coffee had to go along with everything else. I honestly don't miss it as much as I thought I would though, most of the time I don't even think about it.
I wonder if a test has been done to weigh the food and water that went in ... and all waste that came out the other ends, I suspect that the meat diet would show less weight and very likely less bulk of solids product that was eliminated. Its amazing how quickly some types of foods high in fiber will exit the body and in massive quantity ( and with great urgency to put it politely ), what portion was the body even able to utilize.
Think of it this way friend, imo you couldn't pass regular smelly ones when they're were large predators about. They'd smell you from several miles away. Especially true here where I live - Brazil. Chuck Steak is my go-to beef cut, and it is between 2-4 usd per pound not even on the wholesalers, on the butcher shops themselves. If you buy the whole Chuck Roll it is even cheaper. On the weekend's bbq, I do a lot of beef ribs, which are even less expensive than chuck. I keep going off and on the carnivore diet. That’s mainly thanks to my bipolar disorder. But when I stay on it, I eat a boneless ribeye steak with salt, pepper, and Alpine touch because I do like some flavor with my steak. Other than that, it’s just water. I go as long as I can before I get tired of it. It seems to work for me.
I did approx. 6 months of steaks. I got tired of it, but just went to eggs, chicken, for a bit. And then back to a lot of chicken, with beef here and there. Where I'm at now- chicken wings in the air fryer most days, and a handful of meals with ground beef or a steak (once a week.) This variety has led to me not getting sick of any one thing. Since I gave up all the seed oils, I don't concern myself with the high omega 6 of chicken. When I was eating beef only, it was hard for me to eat enough protein, because I was so stuffed from the fatty steak. Yesterday I had one porterhouse (idk, 12 oz tops?), and couldn't eat another bite all day. I'm not perfectly 100% strict carnivore, as I might eat a dill pickle slice or avocado slice, but since I'm not falling into a bowl of pasta, I'm not completely falling off. Bart Kay says the science community defines "Carnivore" as eating ~70% meat. So if you need to have some low-carb add-in to help you thru the boredom, then you could do that. Dr Ken Berry's wife is what is called "Keto-vore" so you could look into that. Take care, friend.
Dr Baker is eating a whole fucking tenderloin. Got to love it lol.
I save alot of time and money on carnivore. All I usually eat is ground beef and scrambles eggs and ribeye occasionally. Every meal I eat its like the most delicious thing. You gonna speedrun thru life on carnivore. I feel like a rock on this diet.
How long did it take for meat to start tasting delicious? I'm on my first week, and I had a dream about paella and chocolate cake
EXACTLY! I had one, ONE, ribeye stake one day and I wasn’t hungry for TWO following. days. I was just drinking water.
Saying it’s too expensive is a cope.
There is a difference between the value of something versus the price of something
Yes!. I buy Chuck Rolls and Piccata and pork shoulder cut my own steaks and grind my own meat. Daughter asked how the ground beef is so red?,no dye!!. I can’t eat store ground meat anymore. My household are still Junkies but I’m trying to wean them off Sugar,Bread , veggies and Seed oils. Not a easy task.
One Ribeye is enough for him? How is that possible, doesn't he workout or so? If I ate only meat, I'd need 1.5kg of meat a day, at the very least. If I chose grass fed, that would be like 60-80 € every day. Not possible for me. But there are options. I go for 400-500 g of "normal raised" fatty beef a day and add some eggs, some chicken, some pork, sometimes fish. It is still more expansive compared to a "normal" healthy diet, consisting of whole foods. But it provides more nutritional value.
Enjoying are carnivore diet in July for the 3 month
Buy whole ribeyes. $12.99/lb and you can cut em as thick as you want. Vacuum seal and freeze the steaks. Take one out every day for tomorrow and put on a rack in the fridge. Convenient and definitely affordable.
And you don't have to eat an expensive ribeye specifically, plenty of cheaper options. I eat wagyu ground beef, tastes great and cheaper than steak.
Well it sounds like that guy has one boring ass life. I’m a pseudo carnivore but like beer and wine. Lost 15 lbs in 2 mos. 222 to 207
Plus you don't have rotting veg in your fridge that you must throw away...By the way, has anyone seen how much a lousy bag of chips costs now? Well I'd rather buy a pound of hamburger for about the same amount.
I buy the cheapest cuts of meat. Tough steak and chicken legs. Good thing I'm an excellent cook
Plus you save time and money by not travelling and sitting at the doctor’s surgery, also save more money on not paying for prescriptions, and even money by not losing time on sick. It’s a win, win win situation!😊
Don't forget all the prescription drugs you don't have to spend money on
He forgot to count diabetes and blood pressure meds.. can have 2 steaks and still be cheaper.
Fear of supposedly being deprived of variety seems to be the bigger issue, voiced or not. Feeling great is not as powerful as feeling ‘normal’.

This is such a disingenuous ridiculous argument. For someone that door dashes, goes out to eat multiple times a week, grabs a starbucks every day... Ok sure, they could use that money for carnivore. But rice and beans per calorie is less than meat. A lot of non processed foods are. Carnivore is probably the most expensive way to eat a non processed foods diet. Period. Ribeye, here, is $21/lb. Nothing else I buy costs $21/lb. Some sauces could cost that, but I don’t really do sauces. I get it. I really do, but ya’ll are just being f’n stupid. Hamburger meat is doable, chicken and eggs but I pretty much just barf after a while and then I stop eating and then I start losing muscle mass. I actually had one cult carnivore job write that if I didn’t want to eat I should just fast. (I did and do.) But that knuckle head suggested I just fast for like eternity or something in spite of the muscle loss.
I’m interested in health, not an eating disorder. You can scream, you can use a megaphone to tell me that carnivore is affordable with steaks. It is NOT when the best I can do is $10/lb. Absolutely NOTHING I buy otherwise costs $10/lb.
Please stop making the carnivore diet look cultish and foolish.
I was a person eating grass-fed or grass-fed organic beef and therefore could not afford fancy cuts. When I went on the carnivore WOE, I switched to traditional steaks (choice, not prime) and saved organic/grassfed for the ground beef. So, GF organic ground beef is about 6$/lb at Sams Club. Organic chicken wings under 4$/lb. Our local discount butcher sells traditional ribeye at 11$/lb (Sams is 14/$lb.) Anyway, I recognize that not everyone can eat like these guys. You should absolutely eat what works for you and if that's not carnivore, then you do you :)
Oh, btw when I was eating the one steak a day, I was not getting enough protein in...so I had to switch it up to chicken wings, which are not as filling, so then I now end up eating much more protein... which is what I need since I also deal with muscle loss (I'm an old lady ;) )
It's ok if it doesn't work for you. You do you

Because 1 ribeye steak is Zar250. That's R1250 per day per family. And my son will laugh at you if you give a 1 lb piece of ribeye a day. There's not a lot of people in South Africa that earn R1250 per day. So yeah he lives in a dream world.
