Although he speaks the truth the fact is Nexon will not merge server unless a server costs more than their current earnings so best thing ppl can do is to only play in one server or w.e that’s how we originally started with 8~12 regular server and it’s only 4 left

TBH this is not true, the banner was up for like 1/4 of his rant (it was still there during the world selection part). I have experience from private servers and these banners have a default to time out after a certain amount of time, it was likely not intentional even though it does look like it was.
@@Frodo_Sagbag tho i don't wanna be discussing private servers. private servers do not share the same source as original server. the person who wrote the original source literally did it from ground zero. the values set for timers are also done by the source itself. so technically it is not really the timer as what u think it is, unless they did have set a timer to the banner anyway.

i've played maple for ~6yrs total and quit twice due to the company never seeming to listen to the players or care about anything other than their bottom line, this was the most amazing thing i've seen come from a maple content creator and while i tuned in to watch you hit level 300 you did something way better, i know it hurts you to do what you did but i promise it was way better than hitting another level, or another milestone, it was awesome and i respect you so much for doing it, good luck with your future endeavors
and honestly there was so much more you could have said, but didn't, it's clear you have a passion for the actual game and want it to be the best it can be, but for that to happen the company behind it needs to get out of the way

Thank you for talking about bonus potential cubes in reward shop. I have asked for this for years, including my short time working for nexon. As well as frenzy totems. They removed the FREE versions in wild totems and kishin but kept the PAY2WIN frenzy totem? And their excuse was that spawn enhancers was stressing their servers. But frenzy doesn't? It's straight up a lie. Bring wild totems back and put frenzy back in marvel at a DECENT RATE. I've been talking about many of these issue for a long time

Fully agree! 1) There is nothing I can farm for, to make money in the auction house. I make most of my money by meso-market... Therefore I don't even want to grind. Doing dailies for like 20 minutes a day is so much more rewarding... And I'm passing a lot of players in the ranking 275+ per week, because they don't even want to do that anymore. 2) Nexon, care for interactive worlds! It would be so easy to have a good pay to win server. But instead it became a pay and have alot frustration to win server. You have no concept for interactive world. 3) The interactive servers are so empty, that's not interactive at all... I play in Luna and that's even worse than what he's showing... The net-code and the web became so much better over the past years. Merge us with NA. It should work with a decent ping. 4) FZ-totem is a complete mess... What are you trying to do? Hide your misstake? You can't undo it!
As a Korean, I feel both respect and sympathy for you. Not all of Nexon's games are like this, but MapleStory's developers have been, are, and will continue to be scammers. The current state of KMS is that all the players who demanded positive changes to the game have left because they are tired of the game not changing. Just wanted to say thank you from someone who played Maplestory from 2008 to 2022. One of the reasons I quit was cause the game got too expensive especially being from Australia. You took advantage of the situation, used it to do good and voice the change that's needed 🤝
I genuinely hope Nexon will make the changes you and so many others want for your beloved game. I have very little faith in Nexon, but I hope they may pleasantly surprise me someday. May that day come sooner rather than later.
I stopped playing maplestory awhile ago but you're an absolute champ for this. Always was looking forward to the lvl300 party and to think you just took the opportunity to deservedly blast the company is beyond based.
Although Niru deserves massive respect for this protest, I have to say that his protest will end in vain. Nexon as a company is run by the most greediest people known to man kind. The overwhelming majority of their player base are at least college students and will not succumb to greedy predatory systems anymore. I am a player who played this game in my childhood, reboot launch, and came back recently because of hyperion hyper burning. I know exactly the strong nostalgic pull of this game but we need to wake up and stop supporting this company. We have already seen not only the endless levels of their greed but their indifference towards the people who support them. It is easy for nexon to temporarily do some changes to please the playerbase for the short term. However, i ultimately believe that they will go back to becoming a greedy company sooner or later. Thank you Niru for reaffirming by decision to not go back to this game ever again.

I was there, and when I tell you chat was going crazy we was proud of him for being the first 300, but we were more shocked than anything but not shocked in a bad way shocked in a “yes this man is a legend” i’m so glad i got to witness this.

Thank you for talking about bonus potential cubes in reward shop. I have asked for this for years, including my short time working for nexon. As well as frenzy totems. They removed the FREE versions in wild totems and kishin but kept the PAY2WIN frenzy totem? And their excuse was that spawn enhancers was stressing their servers. But frenzy doesn't? It's straight up a lie. Bring wild totems back and put frenzy back in marvel at a DECENT RATE. I've been talking about many of these issue for a long time

1) There is nothing I can farm for, to make money in the auction house. I make most of my money by meso-market... Therefore I don't even want to grind. Doing dailies for like 20 minutes a day is so much more rewarding... And I'm passing a lot of players in the ranking 275+ per week, because they don't even want to do that anymore.
2) Nexon, care for interactive worlds! It would be so easy to have a good pay to win server. But instead it became a pay and have alot frustration to win server. You have no concept for interactive world.
3) The interactive servers are so empty, that's not interactive at all... I play in Luna and that's even worse than what he's showing... The net-code and the web became so much better over the past years. Merge us with NA. It should work with a decent ping.
4) FZ-totem is a complete mess... What are you trying to do? Hide your misstake? You can't undo it!

Just wanted to say thank you from someone who played Maplestory from 2008 to 2022. One of the reasons I quit was cause the game got too expensive especially being from Australia. You took advantage of the situation, used it to do good and voice the change that's needed 🤝

I stopped playing maplestory awhile ago but you're an absolute champ for this. Always was looking forward to the lvl300 party and to think you just took the opportunity to deservedly blast the company is beyond based.
Although Niru deserves massive respect for this protest, I have to say that his protest will end in vain. Nexon as a company is run by the most greediest people known to man kind. The overwhelming majority of their player base are at least college students and will not succumb to greedy predatory systems anymore. I am a player who played this game in my childhood, reboot launch, and came back recently because of hyperion hyper burning. I know exactly the strong nostalgic pull of this game but we need to wake up and stop supporting this company. We have already seen not only the endless levels of their greed but their indifference towards the people who support them.
It is easy for nexon to temporarily do some changes to please the playerbase for the short term. However, i ultimately believe that they will go back to becoming a greedy company sooner or later. Thank you Niru for reaffirming by decision to not go back to this game ever again.
