yes, most people are under the illusion that what they pay the council goes towards serving the community and local interests, but sadly this doesnt seem to be the case at all. Instead it seems to go into the bottomless pit of paying off a dubious 'national debt', and funds illegal foreign wars, hence the pot holes, and lack of services, especially for our elderly that have paid their entire lives. I have worked out that our small town provides just under 1 million pounds A WEEK in council tax, and we as a community get close to nothing back, with no transparency or accountability of where our money goes. We have a right to know what exactly we are paying for, to whom, and why. It is my understanding that these councils are private corporations, no different from any other business, and exist solely to make money. It is fraudulent and deceitful. Time to hold them to account, and starve the beast. I would also like to point out that they are supposed to be our servants, not the other way around.

Councils actually get an annual budget from the government. IOW, taxpayers' money. So to pay council tax is to be double-taxed, which is unlawful and illegal. Money for the war comes from all the taxes collected, bulk of which are income tax and VAT. Budgets for each council also come from this revenue collection, which are routinely wasted on unnecessary projects and superfluous events. Point is, there is just NO NEED to pay council tax.

If you own a house and don’t need to risk everything then learn as much as possible before putting you and your family at risk, anyone with property should have a trusted party put a registered charge against their property for more than your property is worth, even if you have a 1st charge put a second one in place don’t inform the mortgage company as they will obviously object, it’s your house don’t ask for permission. @@foyerfelin When you obtain a mortgage the alleged lender has you sign a standard security over your property done by your solicitor, this gives them 1st charge over your property should you fail to pay they can use this security to start the process to steal your property in the Banksters Courts. You can obtain the required forms from the land register to put a second charge on your property no need for a solicitor, (there will be a fee of a couple of hundred pounds or so) and identification from both parties will be required, now a solicitor and your lender will claim because the bank has 1st charge ( if you have a mortgage) that you need their permission, it’s your home not theirs if you trust the party you are applying to put a charge in their name then you are giving them security for any equity that may remain in your property, therefore if you fall into hard times but are managing to keep your payments up with the lender, any equity is already taken by the second charge. If you are mortgage free this would become a first charge. The first things these vultures do is check the land register to see if you are worth pursuing. The funny thing about the WEF slogan you will own nothing and be happy, is there is a twist of truth in this, if you manage your trust properly you really will own nothing and be happy.

Yes, I'd love to see the day when we stand together and refuse collectively to pay for what WE, the people of this country, consider is not fair and doesn't serve our best interest. Yes, I hope this day is coming soon when we don't need to wait for them at "the parliament crib" to tell us what to do and decide what's best for us. It helped that this place was filled with farmers who by law were able to hold a rifle . America is right - never give up your gun rights - its the last defence between you and the fckg bastards that want to destroy your way of life and your kids - and I am not talking about normal folk who for the most part just want a safe home, family and financial peace of mind - I am speaking of the powers that be that enjoy running normal folk into the ground and the more painful destructive it is the bigger the jolly they get from it happening. They tried to take 22% of mine and I had to negotiate it down to 11% and couldn’t afford to live still. Also they say the bailiff fees are capped. That may be, but every time it gets bounced to another bailiff they add their charges and so on. I ended up paying almost as much in all these fees than I had owed. By the way this whole farce happened because I missed 2 payments. It ended up snowballing into a horror story and was threatened and bullied by successive bailiffs. I was scared to open my door. I have my council tax bills going back to the mid 90’s. In 1998 they increased this tax by 25%, then a few years later by another 12%, on top of the yearly 5% increase. I kept my printed bills as proof in case we could mount a claim against them! Also they are bullies. In 2007, they called me into their offices saying they thought I had done something illegal, which I hadn’t. They read me my Miranda Rights as if they were the police, twice in fact, and told me my interviews were under caution! I was stressed out at the time looking after an elderly person who had had a heart attack, so I didn’t need this! I also have documentation on the interviews by the so called council tax police! On reflection I should have sued them, but had a lot to deal with at the time. After 6 months of intimidation they suddenly dropped the case, since they couldn’t find anything to prosecute, and never even apologised! This is the tyranny that we have to tolerate! I’m in my 70’s now but still feel the absolute injustice of it all. 😂 Kira

That part about court summons for council tax is very interesting. When I first started work I shared the rent on a house with someone. He told me that the landlord paid the council tax, so I was bothered when we kept getting council tax demands. We never paid and then we got summons. Now I hear that they were not court summons at all, it was a council scam.
The second interesting thing is that where I live now, there is a crown court that is held in the council offices. I was called up for jury service at was a juror on a case. The judge told us that the council office court was started during lockdown, and they just kept running it. He also said that a lot of the traditional courthouses are being closed. I wonder if that has any effect. I don't think it should, the staff in the council office still cannot issue a summons even if the court is held in the council office building.

    This one’s a bit off topic, however. . .
Plasma energy technology. It’s the future, and possibly the past. . . Well worth looking into, especially if you’re worried about saving the planet from car pollution, etc. once fitted to a petrol car, it basically turns the machine into a moving ‘tree’-it pumps out pure oxygen. It can also be fitted to energy generators and such. This technology was tested on a factory generator in 2023 here in the UK. It is mind blowing stuff.
On topic, it appears one can stop paying council tax, provided one is prepared for a war. Not everyone has the endurance for war. Even so, it is important to stand up and rock the boat if a change is to be implemented. However, war is made up of many battles, one has to pick the right battles for them; it’s not possible to fight every battle in a war of this magnitude.
Richard, I am very impressed by you my friend. Well done 🫡

Energy companies are a slightly different argument because we agree to pay the National Grid for our energy but we do NOT agree to pay the Broker who usurps authority over the grid and us to enjoy rates that they alone set without our consent
This is blackmail through monopoly of that market & all the energy companies do the same IE there is no True Competition to supply a fair rate for energy
Also the grid belongs to us and was built by us , so no private organisation has the right to usurp that ownership & make profit from it.
