    I was able to avoid removing the skates by flatting a qtip with pliers, soaking the qtip with a drop of mineral oil and then inserting the qtip from the front in between the plastic parts, lubricating a plastic post/plunger that sits about 1cm from the front.

    • @iamripoff

      sigh. Legit just had to replace my Model O with a new mouse because the left mouse kept double clicking. So, I get the Model D wireless, and what do you know, within about two weeks now the right click button is squeaking. Love the aesthetics and feel of the Glorious mice but the quality is obviously just subpar at this point

    this helped with the squeak, but what i dont understand is how you put the skate back on and still have good glide.

    • @mooks6488
      @mooks6488 3 года назад +1

      when you pull mouse skates off, you gotta pry it from below and not peel it to the side.
      peeling it to the side causes the mouse skate to bend and deform, which is probably why your skates dont have as good of a glide as before. You can try using a blow dryer on the skates and flatten them as much as possible or just get new skates entirely

    • @hamesterpro3934
      @hamesterpro3934 2 года назад

      if you did it wrong, you may need to get new mouse skates.

  • @guest2395

    For those who don’t want to take the mouse apart. You can just take a wd-40 can and stick it into one of the holes. It does cause slight leakage if you’ve put too much it. But so far it has stopped the squeaking and no issues have occurred. Just make sure you use a very small amount.
