Hy-Gain After Burner Model 482

Demo of the Hy-Gain Afterburner model 482. This is a Bi-Lateral base CB amplifier. Has 2 factory-matched 6JU6 tubes.

I bought this amp and it's mint still in the Box as well as dozens of other nos amps as I've been super busy with radio repairs but I'll hook it up someday.

I bought this exact amp from eBay back in 2003 nos with the box and paperwork. Plugged it in and let it sit for an hour and kaboom, the filter caps went. My bad I should have replaced them. I did fix it and running it as I write this post. Great little amp.

Yeah I bought this amp from this guy he had it on ebay but that's the first thing I'm going to do is recap it before I use it.

That amp can be modded to run either 10m or 6m. I have mine set to run on 6m.
