Playing the game as a kid, I got locked at Cannon's core's Knuckles part because of the water. I remember discovering in the game manual that the air necklace was a thing and immediately think "it has to be in the water mine level !". Spent some time to find it and actually managed to finish the game soon after. It feels almost mandatory to have it, his part is so hard without it, especially when playing as a kid (or noob) !
@@ArrowPandaFode From what I noticed it might've been more difficult in the Dreamcast version. You had the laser in the middle at the start of the last hallway underwater and there weren't any metal boxes to shield you from the hazard when you tried to get an air bubble. Which means if you ran out of time it would've led you straight into the laser with the water timer going off. I grew up with GCN version but noticing that detail years later I know that section would've been more annoying to get A rank back then.

I think Final chase also has some rings further up the starting rail, and Pyramid Cave has one behind the wire wall that can only be obtained with an electric shield. Also in the Gamecube version, many instances of big was replaced with a ring, making some levels impossible there too.

I drive a lowered Honda pilot on 37’s and own 11 dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. They all have their own little personality, they’re like family. They can sense when I’m feeling down, it’s incredible..

It sucks so bad that I have to constantly scrutinize every video just because some jackass invented an algorithm to steal content.

If there's one thing I've learned about that air necklace it's one hellova an lifesaver for cannons core
Magic Hands is MANDITORY to get the Final Stage Emblem in hard mode
The magic hands can actually have some uses but it's mainly if you're trying to 100% the game.

There's quite a few stages that have out of bounds rings. Metal Harbor and Mad Space are the two I know off the top of my head.
