Wouldn't look as bad without the grey cloudy sky.
China is still developing, but it is not so bad for a town in the poorest province of the country. In 10 years it will surely improve a lot.
Japanese villages and suburbs look even worse.

@@Alphadan This is not haze, this is cloudy, clouds are very thick, there is no sun, the humidity in the mountain air is high, so it looks like fog.

Thank you. It seems that some new antique buildings are being built on the right side of the road, which seem to be tourist and leisure areas.
