This is the poorest province in China and it's not gonna look fancy like the 1st tier cities. However it's safe bc l saw a bunch of kids on the streets wity no supervision, if that was in the U.S poorest city, those kids would be kidnapped.

Agriculture village, forest agriculture village
The contrast between this and the city video I watched first is interesting. The city was quite modern looking but it was also a concrete desert where the only green areas were grass deserts.
I didn't hear a single bird and the only animal I saw was a (stray?) dog. People weren't even walking dogs. Actually there's a surprising lack of dogs in both videos - I wonder if there are some restrictions on that?
The city layout was also very carefully planned and placed with a lot of straight lines and similar buildings.
By comparison stuff in this video is more debilitated but there is also a lot more variety in building materials and the layout is more organic.
There's also much more green (but not a lot of flowering plants - maybe not in season?) and private gardens where people look to be growing food crops. You can also hear and see birds and domestic animals like cats and geese.
What I find interesting is how clean the streets are in both cases considering what must be a big difference in population numbers. I mean sure there's a lot of stuff laying around in this video but it's not actual trash.
Finally an observation about people: I think this video has more older people overall but in both cases I saw very few overweight people which is certainly different from where I live.
It's also interesting how differently city planning handles car and bike traffic in both cases. The smaller village is completely lacking sidewalks and heavy traffic is amidst the people where was in the city they are separate.
The city was definitely more ordered where as this town is very chaotic.
As an afterthought: I wonder how often those power lines fail... talk about a tangled mess... sheesh...
Thank you for your informative comments. A lot of what you said is correct. It is true that the traffic in these towns is often chaotic, but at the same time it has its own harmony, I think. Of course, due to various historical and planning issues, the facilities in the small towns may also malfunction, such as power outages and internet outages.
