    I love your creations they are so beautiful, and your instructions are so clear and concise. I have a question for you. I have searched extensively but have been unable to find the answer. When I made these mittens I got a weird seam on the part above the rib. There doesn't appear to be any sign of this in the rib part. It's at where I join the work from the 2 needles. I suspect it's the placement of the yarn when I go from a K row to a P row. I've tried placing the yarn differently but it makes no difference. Would you have any idea what is causing this? Thank you 😊

    Do you have a tutorial on how you do the purl stitch? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like that before. It looks way easier than having to bring it to the front then the back.

    Love this! Can’t wait to try it, but would like to make it larger. Am I correct in that it is a 10 stitch pattern repeat? Can you tell me please what the pattern length would be so I can make it in different sizes? Thank you so much for such an easy to follow tutorial.

    • @knittingforbaby
      @knittingforbaby  2 года назад

      Yes the multiple is 10. The best way to make it bigger or smaller using your own gauge is to get a hat size chart that includes the head circumference and the height. You can find these on Google. Good luck 👍

    • @knittingforbaby
      @knittingforbaby  2 года назад +1

      The stitch multiple is 10 so I’d add 20 stitches more or 30. The stitch it self is very stretchy too to accommodate different head sizes. Try it and let me know how it works w😉

    This pattern is so pretty! I just have a question...I'm on the brim and finished the garter for 6 rows, now I'm slipping the knit stitch and purling the purl stitch, but the way it's looking doesn't look how yours looks. It's folding inwards for those 5 rows, and it's not growing in length. I tried doing that on straight needles, and it worked fine, but as I tried it again in the round, the inward fold keeps happening. Do you know what the problem might be?

    • @knittingforbaby
      @knittingforbaby  Год назад

      It’s supposed to do that so there is a “fold” along those rows.

    Love the design and I want to make one for a 6-month old girl. But I don't have the circular needles. If I have to use straight needles or double-pointed needles, how do I go about knitting this pattern?
    Also, the circumference of the baby's head us 16 inches. So how many stitches would I need in case it's possible with the needles that I have
