I think the lyrics would help you understand better. For example, "Under my skin" seems like a light song but it tells the story of Taemin having a hard time loving himself. And "Famous" is not about a narcissistic guy. Actually, it's about the toxicity of having fame. Yes, I think in general Taemin's discography is very deep and full of symbolism. But the Japanese is even more so. It's fascinating ♡ "Taemin missing hour" here ✋🏻~
Yeah, I was going to recommend reading the lyrics to Under My Skin. I thought it was a gorgeous song before but when I learned what he was singing about it took it to a whole other level and is now one of my favorite Taemin songs (which is saying a lot because he’s my ULT)
@@thespianoge You're right! The feelings are from the beginning (I mean, who can't feel something with Taemin?) but it makes sense when you read the lyrics.
Taemin's "Flame of Love" is telling a story of love and passion. Taemin and the girl were in a car accident in this MV and the girl died. Taemin was so distraught that he was incarnated as a phoenix in order to use the phoenix's powers to bring her back to life. As you might know, phoenix are mythical birds that have healing powers, etc. But as you saw in the MV, as soon as she was brought back to life, the price Taemin had to pay was with his soul and he traded places with her, where he was forced to wait for her until their souls meet up again after death. That's why when you see her hug Taemin you see his soul leave his body and he is wearing that white outfit, which is supposed to be a death shroud, as he crosses over into the afterlife to wait for her to join him. Taemin gave up his life to allow her to live -- he made the ultimate sacrifice for love. His "Flame of Love" burned so brightly and passionately that he was willing to give up everything to have her live. In the end you see their souls meet again to spend eternity together. "Flame of Love" is another one of Taemin's Japanese tracks that is true art. It's one of the most beautiful MVs. Even though this choreography was complex I am sure it was no problem for him, after all he is one of THE BEST dancers in the industry. LOL
There is a reason why TAEMIN is always the standart as a solo artist. Vocal range and powerful dances. Tha'ts him. No one can top his legacy, artistry. Nobody. He is always diferent from the rest. He is his own musical genre and yeah his japanese solo stuff really hits diferent. Legend Taemin
With Taemin you really always need to check lyrics to get the whole grasp of the songs, for example Think of you is upbeat but the lyrics about taemin not being able to love himself and wanting to get help. Same as that, Under my Skin came out in 2018, the lyrics are very personal to him and he even chose to make a MV to this song over the actual title song since it meant so much to him and he really wanted to convey this message; it’s basically about him having a dark side to himself (dark thoughts) and in an interview he said the song is about how his shinee members and shawols helped him to not succumb to the darkness, which tried to consume him after december 2017. When he performed this song live on his concert in 2018 he actually broke into tears right before and even after as well
As many people said, to get the whole experience of Taemin’s Japanese songs you should check the lyrics, for songs like Under My Skin and Famous it’s a must. Under My Skin is deeply personal song for him, when he performed it at the end of Sirius tour he was tearing up. Famous on the other hand is about toxicity and hardships of fame (which you could argue it’s also about him, just in a different way than Under My Skin). Also please try to react (or at least watch it on your own) his Japanese concerts performances. Door, Slave, Famous, they’re amazing!
You are correct. While Taemin does have quite a bit of Japanese music he only has 4 Japanese MVs unfortunately. So far he has done 2 full solo tours in Japan, one at the end of 2018 into the beginning of 2019 and the other at the end of 2019 before he went on tour with SuperM. Also, his very first solo concert was held at Nippon Budokan in 2017, a very prestigious concert hall where artists are only invited to play. Basically in Japan you know you made it when you are invited to play at Nippon Budokan lol. I love his Japanese concerts. Some of my favourite stages from them are "Tiger" and "Eclipse" both from his 2019 Arena concert tour, "Holy Water" from his Sirius tour, "I'm Crying" at Nippon Budokan, really just too many to list lol. They are all just so beautiful and well done. Especially "I'm Crying" at Nippon Budokan. That one is...just so captivating.
@@Xuxi-Myke oh absolutely. The question is whether Austin will be able to handle those stages. He might have to bring back the thirst aid kit for those lol.
You're right, there is a lot of symbolism and mysticism in MV, it always takes you to another level. Art just speaks through him, and in fact it is him. T-pop more to add Taemin doesn't have bad albums, they're all perfect
I love Taemin's Japanese releases (all SM Japanese releases tbh). But I remember specifically when Sayonara Hitori came out, it brought me back to the days of Utada Hikaru.
If I remember correctly, some people who made the cgi for sayonara hitori (1st mv) also worked on big video games like the final fantasy. Really amazing stuff.
When Taemin performed the Korean ver. of Sayonara Hitori (the song hadn't even been released yet) in the dance competition Hit the Stage, from there EVERYONE took his professionalism as an artist much more seriously, and he started earning the title of the best dancer in kpop. I highly recommend you watch the show! It has Hyoyeon of SNSD, Bora of Sistar, Shownu of Monsta X, Ten of Wayv, Momo of Twice (one of hers dances ft. Mina & was canonically lesbian), etc.
@3:34 Sir Austin, he's signed to EMI Records (part of Universal Music Japan) for his Japanese tracks. The MV director is Japanese so it's most likely a joint production by UMJ and SM.
sayonara hitori is such an iconic song god. dc's sua and siyeon covered it for a concert, as did momo and jihyo from twice!! Taemin actually saw momo and jihyo's cover and they ended up performing with Taemin at a year end concert!!! i totally recommend watching it, they are absolutely insane and a dream come true collab. Predebut momo was actually a really big shawol lol.
TAEMIN IS THE BEST ARTIST I CONSCIOUSLY ENJOY, OF THE GENERATION IN WHICH I LIVE. JUST ART. HE IS THE ONE FOR ME. I ENJOY YOUR DISFORCED REACTIONS. NEW SUBSCRIBER.
Taemin's "Under My Skin" song is pretty much about coming to terms with everything that happened to him after Jonghyun passed away in 2017. It's basically about his grieving process and fighting the darker parts of himself with the help of the people he loves, such as his family, the other SHINee members and Shawols. And it's super meaningful to fans that this was the song he chose as his title track which he released in 2018 because it took a lot for him to be this brave and vulnerable after everything we had all been through. Taemin's Japanese songs, in particular, often have very powerful and deep lyrics, and most of his songs have metaphorical meanings and messages. It's always worth looking up the lyrics to Taemin's songs because you are almost guaranteed that there is a lot more going on with the song than you see on the surface. For example, Taemin is a devout Catholic and you will often see biblical references and imagery in his songs and MVs, and there is almost always a spiritual undertone to everything he does.
Taemin's "Sayonara Hitori" is visually stunning and breathtaking. (This is sort of the vibe you need to expect from the majority of Taemin's Japanese MVs, they all have this very Japanese feel to them.) If you are curious how this MV was made, you should look up the behind the scenes/making of video, ruclips.net/video/QNLyT4ZZw7U/видео.html. You will see that for most of it Taemin is dancing in a shallow pool of water on a green screen set. (Very similar to how Onew filmed his solo debut "Blue" MV.) About the only things that are real in the MV are the water and the piano,Taemin's amazing outfits and his impressive dancing. :D (And because this is one of his Japanese songs, you will get a chance to hear just how fluent and comfortable he is speaking in Japanese. :D) "Sayonara Hitori" is his Japanese solo debut in 2016. However, as you have seen, Taemin and SHINee have been well known Japanese artists since SHINee's Japanese debut in 2011. SHINee and Taemin are so famous in Japan that they are considered part of the mainstream music scene in Japan and many don't even consider them foreign artists. They spend almost 50% of their career in Japan, so they are all fluent in Japanese. The Korean version of this song is named "Goodbye." Sayonara means goodbye in Japanese. His Japanese album was so popular that they decided to produce a Korean version of the song later. The Korean version is what you hear if you watch Taemin's "Devil Inside" performance on the dance competition show Hit the Stage or any award show or concert performances outside of Japan. You should also check out the dance practice, vimeo.com/176263415 -- the dance practice is not on RUclips, so you have to use this link from a third-party video sharing site. You haven't even begun to see just how amazing the choreography for "Sayonara Hitori (Goodbye)" is. :P Fun fact: this was the first time Taemin worked with Sugawara Koharu who was also the choreographer for "Move," "Want," "Flame of Love," and she helped choreograph this performance on Hit the Stage, and was one of several who collaborated on Taemin's "Criminal" choreography. Taemin and Sugawara have worked together for years and they are really good friends. She was also the choreographer for SHINee's song "Good Evening." and she choreographed the dance for Girls' Generation's song "Love&Girls," among others. She loves working with Taemin because his dance style and personality is very similar to her's so they mesh really well together, and that is one of the reasons why she has been featured in several of Taemin's projects. This was the first time that Taemin really learned a contemporary style dance and Sugawara was his teacher.
His Japanese music is amazing. Songs like Heaven, Eclipse and Mars…I’d recommend checking out the concert versions of these! The stages are amaaaazing. Don’t know what copyright is like, mind you. I’ve seen a few people react to them okay but who knows with Japanese songs.
I just love Under my Skin! In the Sirius concert he explained that the song meant a lot to him, I recommend reading the lyrics (and watch this video if possible). my recommendations for an upcoming video: Flame of Love (dance performance MV), Famous (dance practice), Door (live performance), Slave (live performance) thanks for always reacting to Taemin and SHINee! ❤️
I love what a departure famous is after those other songs, when I got into Taemin's Japanese discography I never realized what a departure Famous was until I watched them all in order with you here^^
Yes he HAS a full Japanese album named TAEMIN and it has some of his Korean titles in Japanese version and some other chief kiss other songs. I would highly request to do an album reaction but if you're not in the mood just check out Holy water (has live stage too)
Taemin japanese albums are on another level! Under my skin is one of my top 3 songs from Taemin. Also wise words on don't uptade computers XD They brake more often than getting better XD
Thank you SO MUCH for tracing to his Japanese MVs. I know they’re a crapshoot so many reactors stay away. Sorry for the novel but here we go: Taemin has been my ULT/God ever since I got into Kpop (only last year unfortunately) and obviously I’ve devoured every single crumb of content of his on the Internet. And I’ve come to the conclusion that most of my favorite songs are Japanese releases. I’m (progressional costume technician) theatre trash and so I love all things dramatic and a lot of his Japanese work just ratchets up his already dramatic discography. I’ve read that’s why he tends to be popular in Japan, because of his extra theatrical drama and heightened emotions. (Don’t fact check me on that though…) I’ll admit that Sayonara Hitori was a “grower” for me but it’s now in my top 10 or maybe 5. It’s notable that the choreography for that song was by Koharu Sugawara, the same woman who did Move (and danced beside him in the duo scenes.) She also choreographed Flame of Love, Criminal, and SHINee’s “Good Evening.” They both won an award for their performance of Syonara Hitori on the dance competition show Hit the Stage. And it’s one that you truly have to see in a live performance to completely get its glory without all the beautiful CGI. Under my Skin is one that I initially skipped because I’m not usually into ballads but when I read the lyrics everything changed. I identified with them so much, and the amazing swelling of the strings near the end just punch me in the gut every time. For me, Flame of Love is just Syonara Hitori 2.0 and I’m not exactly sure why. It doesn’t quite hit me the same. My interpretation is that he was driving the car during an accident and she died and he can’t forgive himself for it. And yes, Famous is definitely his most “Korean” sounding song and they eventually made a Korean version. And the choreography is iconic! That hand wiggle tho! My favorite b-side Japanese songs include: Eclipse, Holy Water, Do It Baby, Door (you HAVE to see a live performance! It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen! ruclips.net/video/OE1Y_JtVccA/видео.html) and Tiger. For a few truly delightful songs, there’s Mars and What’s This Feeling. There are a few Japanese concerts available in their entirety on RUclips and it’s one of those times when you can see him instantly “switch” and then jump around and have so much fun with his dancers. It’s just adorable. Someone downthread did the Lord’s work and already listed all the times that Taemin wrecked his car but also in the SHINee universe: Minho: Heartbreak SHINee: Tell Me What To Do Get the Treasure (an amazing Japanese MV and I believe the last one they shot with Jonghyun.) And for good measure Taemin: Advice Press your number Flame of love Famous Once again, thank you SO MUCH for reacting to these MVs. Whenever someone does, it gives me some extra excitement because they’re unearthing some new precious gems! (Also if you’ve never heard Soldier or Heaven they’re necessary!)
I like how different the Japanese MVs and songs are. You’ve been so consistent with Taemin reactions. It certainly helps to fill in the gap that Taemin has left while he’s away. Before we know it, Taemin will be discharged and it’ll be like he never left. Thanks for your videos.
Taemin es arte en japones en coreano o en ingles.amo a este hombre su voz de terciopelo su concepto y ni hablar de como baila.❤💎 gracias por tu reaccion
When I saw and listened to Famous I was captivated by Taemin, the green hair and eye color 😍 Famous is the title track of his EP by the same name, Famous. I think you might like his song Exclusive, I personally like Slave. EP has 6 songs total.
When it's Taemin, we absolutely need dance! I totally recommend dance practices for Sayonara Hitori and Famous and the dance version of the Flame of Love Video (since a lot of the dance gets covered by the story). Also, he won a Hit the Stage competition by performing a beautiful duet dance of Sayonara Hitori with the choreographer, Koharu Sugawara, who is so amazingly awesome it cannot be understated. Obviously, would probably get blocked on a RUclips reaction because it's a show, but here's the link if you're interested! ruclips.net/video/lXJKEdgW5_0/видео.html
Yes! Finally someone reacted to my favorite Taemin songs! Thank you. I agree these songs do feel different. They are so artistic and theatrical. It makes them so special.
great to see you reacting to his japanese stuff !! the albums are definitely worth a listen, he has some amazing japanese b sides, and live performances as well !! i'd especially recommend the performance for "door" (it's very iconic despite being only a b side) and for "eclipse" (especially the one from the xtm arena tour). sayonara hitori definitely grew on me much more after seeing the live performance as well !! the video is cool, but in my opinion it doesnt showcase the choreography very well :( so i'd definitely recommend watching that. it's still regarded as one of his best choreos, even in korea ! the lyrics to under my skin are so beautiful, but break my heart :( it's definitely one of his more close to home songs i feel, the translation is worth a read imo. same goes for the lyrics of famous, they're quite a bit darker than you may expect ! but youre definitely onto something with the burning mannequins :)
The choreo for Sayonara Hitori is sooo beautiful. The choreographer for this song is the same choreographer for Flame Of Love and Move (and she's in the MV). For Sayonara Hitori he has a dance practice together with her and without her. I find them both dancing to it so gorgeous. To me it feels like a "dancing with your shadow" and "two makes it stronger". They performed it together live as well! Definitely one of my all time favourite choreos in general.
Flame of love is just perfection. I always enjoy watching people discover his Japanese releases. It amazes me how flexible idols are with language and the ability to memorize an entire song in a completely foreign language. I’m over here like 5 years into studying Korean tripping over ㄹ routinely
Thank you for your reaction!! Japanese discography are dangerous but beautiful, be careful. I recommend, Soldier + Rise live in the Sirius concert 2018 is a masterpiece , Eclipse, Into the rhythm live is the energy booster u need, I'm crying live, Black rose performance and if you wanna a spicy stage Slave will not disappoint u. I hope it help, have a good day!!
Although Taemin's "Famous" doesn't sound like it on the surface, if you read the English translation of the lyrics, you see it's actually kind of a sad song. Taemin isn't being cocky, he's being sarcastic and maybe a little facetious. The song is about how he has sort of lost his true self and no longer knows who he really is after becoming so famous. He talks about how living in the public eye all the time, he feels like he is always being watched and he can no longer live a normal life, etc. I interpret the ticking movements, for example, to be a representation of the fear and anxiety he feels with the fact that he always has to keep up a public image and the pressure he feels to be perfect. I think we see him bleeding because it's showing how he is literally putting everything he has into his career, but he feels, metaphorically, like people aren't satisfied unless they see him shed blood, sweat and tears. He feels like he can never live up to the public's expectations of him and that no matter what he does, there is always someone looking to tear him down, etc. Taemin isn't the one bringing the drama, he's talking about the drama being created by others and outside forces that cause drama in his life. (Drama isn't a good thing.) I see the crash test dummies representing several different things. First, he is no longer just going to sit around like a dummy allowing outside forces to use him as their test dummy to see how far they can push him, etc. I also see it as, he is going to stop allowing those brainless dummies to have a role in his life. In other words, Taemin won't allow those dummies -- i.e. those nameless, faceless people and things that are creating the drama -- to continue to exist in his life and he is setting them on fire to get rid of them and end the drama. All of Taemin's songs have similar themes, he uses his solo work to present a message about his life or society in general. Taemin is really smart, and he is very introspective. When he was younger he often struggled to break out of his shell and really express himself. So as a solo artist he uses his songs, MVs and performances to tell his story and to give a voice to the things he feels are important or something he wants people to understand about him or life in general. That is why Taemin's songs/MVs are often about the duality of a person and how he has struggled most of his life to come to terms with how people think of him vs. the way he sees himself, etc. You often see him tied up because it represents how he is always struggling to break free from something. And as a Catholic, he is also very devoted to his faith, so most of his MVs also have a biblical undertone to them that reference stories or lessons from the Bible. I see the message in "Famous" as being connected to the themes within his recent Korean album Never Gonna Dance Again, where he talks about being in love with his career, but that doesn't come without sacrifices, such as having to endure the pain of keeping up a public image and the constant pressure he is under as an Idol who is always being scrutinized by the public, etc. It actually shouldn't be all that surprising that Taemin also scatts/raps in "Famous". Because SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group, all the members of SHINee were trained in rap. Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular in 2008 when they debuted. That is why the members of SHINee are so multi-talented, their rappers are amazing singers and their singers can rap. During most the members' live solo performances, when the featured rapper is unable to perform with them, they will perform the whole song themselves. You really need to check out Taemin's dance practice video for "Famous," you will be even more blown away by his dancing once you see the whole thing in full. This is one of Taemin's more impressive dance practice videos.
Hello Mr. Austin 😊👋🏻 i'm glad that you react to Taemin ❤️ Actually "Sayonara Hitori" was the song which brought me dive more in to Taemin 😊 never regrets since then.. * i dunno why, but i always got goosebumps and my tears flow unconsciously everytime i hear "Sayonara Hitori" played 😢💔
Woah... I thought it would take another 10 days for SHINee reaction. You are unpredictable and unorganised, Austin...which we love You for that. Thank You,Austin!
I adore Taemin’s Japanese music. Under My Skin is absolutely gorgeous (someone linked a live performance already, but even without subtitles, this one made me cry simply bc of how good his voice sounds ruclips.net/video/gVIc51UF2_M/видео.html) and I LOVE Door, Holy Water, and Better Man. His MAMAs performance of Door (with cameo by Kai in the audience ruclips.net/video/07VOaK9Wd8E/видео.html) is absolutely iconic.
Hello Sir Austin I would like to recommend you a band called "The Rose", their vocalist is wonderful. Hopefully you can consider reacting to one of their presentations. 💕✨
Dear Austin, thank you for this beautiful gift of Taemin today. You've made my day, week, month 💜 I wasn't thinking of the expense of Sayonara Hitori mv (there's a bts as well). [Hit'-o-ree) as in the English short "i" like the word "hit."] In Flame of Love, I think Taemin survived the car accident at first and gave up his life, either for her or to be with her in the next. Shawols, please clarify. Under My Skin is always in my Top 2 or 3 of Taemin's art. I do love the Japanese videos, and for SHINee too. Taemin is such a good actor. (Maybe SM will create a film section to feature movies or fuller length mvs with Taemin.) I also love that Taemin openly critiques media, fame, and celebrity in Famous (it's killing him, his spirit), and all that plus a critique of the industry in Pretty Boy. I know about cars, right? (They trusted him again in Advice, haha!) I remember when I first started watching Taemin, he was either dancing on a car or a piano or had guns around. Everything is infused with symbolism. Again, arigato for your channel, Austin 💜
Taemin's "magic hands" wreck cars. Really this video is just liquid gold, honestly Taemin's self-titled Japanese album is one of my favourites and probably my most listened to. Sayonara Hitori/Goodbye is my favourite song by him. Taemin is just pure art, and he really unleashes it in the Japanese songs. Plus he made me a Koharu fan, I friend-ship those two so hard.
Thank you!!! Excited for you to check out some live performances like Sexuality from Budokan, Danger live from SHINee I'm Your Boy concert, Famous live performance version and something ballad like I'm Crying (eng sub) from Budokan
Quite a bit of his Japanese b-sides are my favorite, it’s so good especially the lives. You should check out lives from his concerts Slave, door, mars , holy water, better man, I’m crying
"I love him but he's not getting in my car, my insurance wouldn't cover that" I AM DEAD LMFAO!!!!!! I didn't even notice the theme of messed up cars but there was one in 'Press Your Number' as well lol.
JPop group I recommend is JO1. Their songs I think you might enjoy are: Infinity, Shine A Light, Born To Be Wild. They were formed through Produce 101 Japan, and is a permanent group. RUclipsrs can use JO1's MVs to react to without getting their video banned.
For me, it's because his japanese pronounciation is so gorgeous and pleasing.. I'm familiar with japanese language eventhough I can't speak it myself. But let me tell you, SHINee japanese songs and sounds are different level (or should I say, next level.. haha) They're pretty fluent with it because they do a lot of work and promotion in Japan. But especially Taemin, like I said in the first sentence, his way of speaking japanese language is so mesmerizing. You should react more to SHINee and Taemin discography. Try Door from Taemin and then you should watch the live performance of it. I would love to see your reaction..
Under my skin gives me goose-bumps every time I hear it... There´s a live performance of that song where he gets quite emotional (after jjongs passing) ruclips.net/video/3vR7hg1zLS0/видео.html
OMG Austin thank you so much for this. 3:37 LMAO. And you problaby won't. 😂 This is UMJ, not SM. UMJ is the best, at least with SHINee. What I understand from Flame of love MV is that they had a car accident and she died, Taemin then tried to bring her back to life and in the process he died too, and now they're together in the after life. If you wanna check out Taemin happy japanese songs, I really recommend you those 3: Taemin - Mars: ruclips.net/video/u2ja0bhyweI/видео.html Taemin - Into the rhythm: ruclips.net/video/YsamFbfHP0U/видео.html Taemin - What's this feeling: ruclips.net/video/MemIgNicz9w/видео.html
You should react to your number dance video Moon river waltz live, sunny side and wishful thinking live those are some good Shinee Japanese songs and performances
Honestly, Goodbye (Sayonara Hitori) and Flame of Love are my least favorite among SHINee member music videos. I love the choreography version of Flame of Love, as well as the live performance of Goodbye he does with the Koharu Sugawara (who choreographed both songs). I think the dances really shine more than the storytelling of the music videos, despite how cinematic they are.
It's fascinating ♡
"Taemin missing hour" here ✋🏻~
Yeah, I was going to recommend reading the lyrics to Under My Skin.
LOL
You need to watch his live performance you never dissapoint! His charisma is on another level! Sexuality, Door, Slave, Black Rose, One by One.
That's why Taemin remains as the ultimate ACE of kpop. Nobody can top his artistry, nobody.
Times Taemin has wrecked a car:
SHINEE- Everybody
Taemin- Press your number
Taemin- Advice
Taemin- Flame of Love
Taemin- Famous
He’s not getting insurance.
Also 2 Kids😭
SHINee - Tell Me What To Do as well...
Also SHINee Get the Treasure! (Thanks for this, I have been compiling a list myself and I’m glad I’m not the only one!
When he performed this song live on his concert in 2018 he actually broke into tears right before and even after as well
His Japanese songs are iconic 👌🏻 ugh I miss him, can’t wait for him to be back from the military!
Sexuality, Door and Slave are also gorgeous
@@Xuxi-Myke oh absolutely. The question is whether Austin will be able to handle those stages. He might have to bring back the thirst aid kit for those lol.
Mars, into the rhythm and whats this feeling too
Art in motion. Taemin is literally living, breathing art.❤️
In Japan is universal music who is in charge of SHINee's music, MV production and marketing. They are in a whole other level compare to sm.
Four Japanese mvs in one reaction video??? You are really brave lmao 😭 watching this as soon as I can in case it gets blocked 🏃♀️
Omg yeees love all these tracks. Glad Under my Skin doesn't have lyrics on it because they makes me cry tbh :')
Taemin’s Japanese music and MVs are a complete different mood but still Taemin, I personally love it.
"Sayonara Hitori" is his Japanese solo debut in 2016.
Fun fact: this was the first time Taemin worked with Sugawara Koharu who was also the choreographer for "Move," "Want," "Flame of Love," and she helped choreograph this performance on Hit the Stage, and was one of several who collaborated on Taemin's "Criminal" choreography.
"I love him but he's not getting in my car" 😂😂😂
Under My skin hits me everytime. It always make me cry... Its lyrics are beautiful.
This made me miss him more but that’s ok! Thank you for this!!❤️
His Japanese music is amazing.
In the Sirius concert he explained that the song meant a lot to him, I recommend reading the lyrics (and watch this video if possible).
my recommendations for an upcoming video: Flame of Love (dance performance MV), Famous (dance practice), Door (live performance), Slave (live performance)
thanks for always reacting to Taemin and SHINee! ❤️
I love what a departure famous is after those other songs, when I got into Taemin's Japanese discography I never realized what a departure Famous was until I watched them all in order with you here^^
Loved yours reaction:) please react to Taemin’s “just me and you” mv. It’s so underrated!
Yes he HAS a full Japanese album named TAEMIN and it has some of his Korean titles in Japanese version and some other chief kiss other songs. I would highly request to do an album reaction but if you're not in the mood just check out Holy water (has live stage too)
Taemin is so different and he makes me feel so some how! Thank you for bringing us your love for taemin.
Sorry for the novel but here we go:
Taemin has been my ULT/God ever since I got into Kpop (only last year unfortunately) and obviously I’ve devoured every single crumb of content of his on the Internet. (Don’t fact check me on that though…)
I’ll admit that Sayonara Hitori was a “grower” for me but it’s now in my top 10 or maybe 5.
Someone downthread did the Lord’s work and already listed all the times that Taemin wrecked his car but also in the SHINee universe:
Minho: Heartbreak
SHINee: Tell Me What To Do
Get the Treasure (an amazing Japanese MV and I believe the last one they shot with Jonghyun.)
And for good measure Taemin:
Advice
Press your number
Flame of love
Famous
Once again, thank you SO MUCH for reacting to these MVs. Whenever someone does, it gives me some extra excitement because they’re unearthing some new precious gems! (Also if you’ve never heard Soldier or Heaven they’re necessary!)
Under my Skin impresses me every single time! It's one of my abaolutr favorite songs of Taemin.
I like how different the Japanese MVs and songs are. You’ve been so consistent with Taemin reactions. It certainly helps to fill in the gap that Taemin has
left while he’s away. Before we know it, Taemin will be discharged and it’ll be like he never left. Thanks for your videos.
Under my Skin is so beautiful, I find myself going back to it a lot years later whenever I'm in my feels
LIVE PERFORMANCE OF DOOR! I’m just trying to figure out which performance to recommend
You should watch his performance of sayonara hitori (korean version) + guess who + soldier at MAMA 2016 it's legendary
You should definitely check out the performance of Sayonara Hitori the duet version with Koharu is BEAUTIFUL!
I love them all and they're iconic, but Under my skin really gets to me. it hits me every time, because of those lyrics
Yaaaaaas Sir Austin reacting to Taemin's Japanese releases. Literally so iconic. Thank you Austin, i really enjoy your reactions 💙
The lyrics for under my skin are beautiful.
Thanku for the reaction!!! All the Japanese songs are bop!!!
(Drama isn't a good thing.)
I see the crash test dummies representing several different things.
You have to check out "Holy water" as well it's a B -side from under my skin and IS A BOP
I love all of these songs! I do believe that you will like these songs too eventually sir austin!
I recommend you react to his Japanese performances of his besides, especially Door and Slave
Up
ILYSB Plz
wow. thanks for the reaction. My favorite song under my skin
❤️Taemin's Japanese songs hit differently.
Thanks for reacting - each one of his Japanese songs are amazing audiovisual masterpieces.
His Japanese songs thou..no joke .beautifully done..
Thank you so much, I love these songs
Thank you!!! Excited for you to check out some live performances like Sexuality from Budokan, Danger live from SHINee I'm Your Boy concert, Famous live performance version and something ballad like I'm Crying (eng sub) from Budokan
thank you for reacting to these, flame of love was a great discovery
sayonara hitori is such a beautiful song!
Taemin's Japanese albums are amazing 👏
Quite a bit of his Japanese b-sides are my favorite, it’s so good especially the lives. You should check out lives from his concerts Slave, door, mars , holy water, better man, I’m crying
His dance practices are cool too. Sexuality is really cool song.
Yesss you're on his Japanese tracks.... finally. Watching later~ PS, I love Famous' b-sides. Do check them pls
I loveeeee watching your video. Haha I feel like I am watching my favorite artist with my friend haha so nice.
Under My Skin is my favorite Taemin song of all times. His Japanese releases are just superior!
Japanese Taemin just hits different! They LOVE him over there so he gets a lot of budget 😂
Also I miss the baby cheese now 😭
You should check out Taemin’s Eclipse! Maybe my favorite song by him.
I recommend Sexuality live in Nippon Budokan, that performance was FIRE. He was oozing with hotness there hahahahaha. Please check that out. :)
Amazing! Waiting for your reaction to Taeyong Love theory, you are going to love it!
"I love him but he's not getting in my car, my insurance wouldn't cover that" I AM DEAD LMFAO!!!!!! I didn't even notice the theme of messed up cars but there was one in 'Press Your Number' as well lol.
in "Advice" also 😂
@@susanluv9504 He mentioned 'Advice' already but I can't believe I never noticed how many of his MV's had messed up cars before 🤣
JPop group I recommend is JO1. Their songs I think you might enjoy are: Infinity, Shine A Light, Born To Be Wild. They were formed through Produce 101 Japan, and is a permanent group. RUclipsrs can use JO1's MVs to react to without getting their video banned.
Black rose the stage, Shadow-guess who-sexuality live at the second concert.
Taemin..my ult, ult!
For me, it's because his japanese pronounciation is so gorgeous and pleasing.. I'm familiar with japanese language eventhough I can't speak it myself. But let me tell you, SHINee japanese songs and sounds are different level (or should I say, next level.. haha)
They're pretty fluent with it because they do a lot of work and promotion in Japan. But especially Taemin, like I said in the first sentence, his way of speaking japanese language is so mesmerizing.
You should react more to SHINee and Taemin discography. Try Door from Taemin and then you should watch the live performance of it. I would love to see your reaction..
i would highly recommend famous dance practice too👀
Sir Austin, please, make a reaction on SEXUALITY, HOLY WATER, MARS, SLAVE - live performance in Japan..they are mind-blowing !!!
It's a pity they don't add English subtitles to his Japanese MVs, because they are very good and meaningful. Especially Under My Skin and Famous.
Yeeess, thank youuu ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Under My Skin is fantastic!
i LOVE taemin's japanese discography omg for me is the best aside of exo and red velvet
Under my skin gives me goose-bumps every time I hear it... There´s a live performance of that song where he gets quite emotional (after jjongs passing)
ruclips.net/video/3vR7hg1zLS0/видео.html
Sayonara Hitori is the title of the first mv.
If you wanna check out Taemin happy japanese songs, I really recommend you those 3:
Taemin - Mars: ruclips.net/video/u2ja0bhyweI/видео.html
Taemin - Into the rhythm: ruclips.net/video/YsamFbfHP0U/видео.html
Taemin - What's this feeling: ruclips.net/video/MemIgNicz9w/видео.html
HELL YESSSSS
Check out Black Rose live by Taemin..I think you’ll like it!
React to Taemin "famous" dance practice😍😍😍
You should react to your number dance video Moon river waltz live, sunny side and wishful thinking live those are some good Shinee Japanese songs and performances
Honestly, Goodbye (Sayonara Hitori) and Flame of Love are my least favorite among SHINee member music videos. I love the choreography version of Flame of Love, as well as the live performance of Goodbye he does with the Koharu Sugawara (who choreographed both songs). I think the dances really shine more than the storytelling of the music videos, despite how cinematic they are.
