Thank you very much. Very helpful. Got my first Oud, Arabic tuning CFAdgc` and had a lot of buzz on the third strings (A). The first hint was helpful, both A strings touched in the pegbox. I never thought that the string ends in the pegbox, behind the saddle, could have any influence at all.
Hi John, awesome video! I wish you had given a solution for the "etched fingerboard" as well. Any possible remedies for someone that is located somewhere that are no luthiers close by?
Hello , thank you for that excellent knowledges. But I think sound is blocked between the nose bridge and the tie bridge only , so buzzes will be in that distance, I mean buzz will be blocked by the tow bridges, especially in the (bonjoqe) keys house . Thank you again Dear.
Luthier John Vergara / Lord of the Strings wow I had to listen to the vid again now that I’m reading your reply and realized that the first thing you mentioned is being in Beacon NY. Do you guys have a website I can purchase from that you can provide? Thanks

Excellent discussion about probable causes of oud string "buzz". Extremely helpful!
That rose is absolutely beautiful

Thanks for the input. my RE string was buzzing and now i fix it. I was wondering do you have a trick to make all stings the same height on the bridge?
The same happened to me.Thanks a lot.
That was helpful! Thanx a lot. My old is buzzing exactly in the third position...I'll try this trick! ;)
Great tips, thank you.
Really helpful video, thanks for posting!
Helpful video thanks- How much relief does an oud's fingerboard usually have??- Thanks again.
Not much, about half a millimeter. Sorry for the late reply!

Thanks a lot man for these great videos!!
The Arabic script is spectacular
Thanks for the video. I was wondering if you can make a video on how to remove the rosette and repair the braces without removing the sound board!
Always wipe the fingerboard after playing, lessens oxidation
Great video, I’m curious if you can do a series of videos on tools, resources, jigs, on building and fixing odds. What are your thoughts on that?
Thank you it was very helpful
