A point worth noting: you can get the pouches prior to having the required runecrafting levels. It would be more viable to sit and camp the pouches in one trip rather than going there several times

Remember that you don't need to exit the bank interface in order to fill up your pouches. You can fill them up within the bank interface by right clicking and then fill (it's the last option when right clicking). It costs you way less money in the long term and saves you a lot of time! Trust me!
I know that this was a later update, but the daeyalt essense makes it a lot more tolerable being 50% more xp. You need to mine it first, but it is quite afk so you can do it when you are busy irl and save it for when you are able to train rc. It is an alternative way of redistributing your time for rcing with variable afk-ability. It is locked behind the sins of the father quest though.

I haven't seen a comment saying this, but when Sins of the Father was added they also created a new essence called "Daeyalt essence". It requires Sins of the Father completed and 60 mining, but it gives a 50% buff to your RC xp. If used in ZMI it's a total of 155% bonus xp. Only downside is that technically it does add like 5% more time to your grind, but personally I really don't mind a bit more time with a lot more afk. Also, if you find running runes boring, you could also help at the Arceus library. It's a little more intensive than running runes, but from 10-77 it's similar rates to ZMI without Daeyalt. A little slower and you make no gp, but at least it's less tedious. You could technically start at 1, but the xp scales with rc lvl like zmi.
Small note: you are not guaranteed to get law runes in the early 50s. I'm at 54 and dont get a law 1 in every 10 runs or so. I was using a fury for extra def bonus but its definitely worth having the glory instead for a sure tp to a bank. (Or duel ring). It just really screws up your moment when you don't get that law rune to tp back.
which is why i don't quite understand why he would choose the law over the cosmic in the rune pouch, since the pouches almost never break and when they do you are already at the bank to grab some comics out of it
ik this is super old but you should use the black pickaxe for zhea rune crafting since it has the lowest weight of all the picks so more run energy aka better exp rates
A quick recommendation is to 'Use' an essence on a player instead of 'Following' them in ZMI crafting. This is because of the pathing your player will run because if you follow a player you might get stuck behind the environment. Also the agility requirement for Zeah crafting is a must, if you have the patience to get 77+ RC then you can do 73 agility as well lol

Players may hate runecrafting, but its still the most profitable skill that was not totally ruined by bots, no other skills can get you over 1 mil/h profit. One exception would be smelting Steel at blast furnace, which can get close to 1 mil sometimes, currently at 800k/hr
I enjoy runecrafting, the trick is to take it at your own pace because I think people want to get it done quickly but because its a bit of a slow skill people let it frustrate them.

schlynn It’s probably a good thing to point out. You can do rune crafting entirely without doing rune mysteries and that does go for any player. The only reason you need rune mysteries done is to get into the essence mine and that’s not a glitch or a bug. Jagex made it like that intentionally
Back when RS3 was still RS2 I used to be a pure f2p with 80rc crafting earth runes at like 5k an hour. RC really isn't that bad, it's just a little more time consuming. People do 5k Zulrah kills, but can't do a few 100 hours of running back and forth for the same profit.
Any player should do the "what lies below" quest when starting nightmare zone or runecrafting. Even if you hate questing like me, that quest is definitely worth it. Its a few minutes and you get access to the dwaeven rock cake AND 8k runecrafting exp. Just an insanely effective quest early on and in the mid game
@@JC-ho9hf yes, you need to do "the cooks assistant" quests, which I think are 2 mini quests. Might take you 6 or 7 min to complete both. Then after that you find yourself at a table with many different races. Inspect the dwarf to start the quest that you need for the dwarven rock cake. I think this quest is about 15 minutes. You can find a guide by searching for "rfd dwarf guide". Forgot the actual name of that quest.
Considering that double death runes is 2 mil per hour at 99 RC you should get 99 with soul then do double death for money, youll end up making more. Of course, Im not going to do either, its just how the math shakes out

Keep the equipment screen up at all times to teleport with as least clicks. In bank only take essence. Don't even deposit the fire runes.
Jagex needs to do something to revitalize this a bit, at least make it a bit more rewarding to do or something hell bring in the RC minigame since it was introduced back in 2008 so we can get those cool cosmetic pieces.
You will not always get at least 1 law rune. Did not get any a few times. I takes laws and keep cosmics in bank. I take 1 cosmic out when i need to repair
Put the pouches in your inventory, clear their placeholders if u have in ur bank, have placeholders or at least 1 of each rune in bank, fill the bank with placeholders so theres no more room for the pouches. Dump all to bank -> no room for pouches -> pouches stay in inventory.
For ZMI why are you taking comics?? 9:55 Dunno if I've missed something. Surely it makes sense to take laws for teleport? Multiple times I've not received laws on runs
is it just me or no one seems to show the runelite filling pouches from bank ect setting? plus xp rates wrong as i am getting 37.5k an hr at 70 rc and using a 2 tick to alter, by turning on gpu on runelite and clicking at end of the straight wall u can see from bank then on alter when it gives option to craft
I *strongly* recommend you get 99 Strength first so that when you begin this grind you'll be strong enough to hold back the tears.

1-77 RC is horrible yes but becomes chill imo once you unlock blood runes.

It's actually better to use an essence on somebody running decently ahead. This way if u hit the corner inside, you won't get stuck on the rock.

Four months late but you can get all pouches at any level from the abyss. Found this out like a week ago
You can use a pure ess on a player at the NMI later to follow a player without getting stuck.

BTW if you make blood runes, Buy blood essence, it cost you 150-200k and will give you 1000 blood runes...
so you pay 150k for getting 300k.

You should do Lavas to 200m xp and then do ToB for money. You end up making more money in the long run.

Unless im a dumb ass, but the total quest XP you get should be 34,000, not 29,500? 8k + 6k= 14k. 5k(3) = 15 + 14 is 29. + 1k + 500 + 3.5k. quik mafs.
Sorry to ask how would you recommend getting talismans for earth/fire and or what levels would be safe to get into the abyss?
