Thank you for finding the video helpful. If you plan to travel with your spouse, here's what you need to do: 1. Authenticate your marriage certificate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with other required documents. 2. Submit the authenticated marriage certificate on your Legalisation day and pay around 150k for additional verification. 3. If you've changed your maiden name due to marriage, obtain an affidavit confirming the name change. This helps resolve any name discrepancies quickly. 4. Authenticate the affidavit in Abuja, and consider taking it for legalization, although it may not always be required, as was the case with my wife and me. I hope this clears things up.

Thanks for this. For the academic transcript, according to the early part of this video you said we need to authenticate the degree certificate and degree transcript. Can one put the address of the embassy to collect it physically in order to send it for authentication?
Yes I said it, however I later remembered that the embassy didn't use the authenticated transcript from us, they used the one sent by the school to them. So remove your transcript from the list of documents to be authenticated in Abuja, continue with others as mentioned in the video. It's a minor error, I don't know if you understand.
You can put the address of the embassy in your request from your university. Your university will send it physically, however it's best and faster to use email. It's more reliable, like I said, remember the date your school sent it to the embassy, so that if they ask you, you will tell them, then they will search their database to recover your official transcript. Without this, your degree certificate won't be authenticated.

Start emailing them for the visa date, one week before your legalization date. So you can get a date close to it, after your legalization. That's what I did and got a week gap between legalization and visa date

Yes they accept employers to sponsor their employees just make sure the employers documents especially money available in his or her account is enough for the tuition fees.

You will have to send your transcript to the embassy before 31 October. Know the date your university sent it. They ask you when you get there so that they can check for it. What happens is that Your transcript is used to legalised your degree certificate. Without it, your degree is not legalized.

Authentication can be done for you by proxy While legalization is selective, for police clearance, the consulate won't accept by proxy. Other documents can be done by another person for you but, not a police character

You CAN'T do Legalisation without Authentication of your documents. You can go to Abuja ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs and do it yourself if you wish. But you NEED an Authenticated documents for Legalisation

Could you please provide guidance on finding more affordable accommodation in Spain? The least expensive studio I have found so far costs between 550 and 1000 euros per month in a shared space. This seems costly, especially when considering the country's minimum wage. As an international student planning to come to Spain for my master's degree, the accommodations I have come across are charging excessive fees for accommodation reservations needed for applying for my student visa at the Spanish Embassy. I cannot afford to pay the above amount per month for a shared studio apartment in Barcelona. Initially, I thought I could find a place for around 300 to 350 euros per month within my budget, but it has been difficult to find. All the residences my institution connected me to in Spain are charging a minimum of 550 to 1000 euros, which is far above my budget. I really need to obtain a certified booking for accommodation to apply for a student visa as it is a requirement.
I'm hoping the embassy has a positive approval rate for student visas. My university requires full tuition payment or a 50% deposit upfront. Unfortunately, they mentioned that €2,000 enrollment fee is non-refundable from the tuition deposit that will be paid if the visa is refused by the embassy , which is a cause of concern for me considering the amount is huge . Because these EU Schengen countries always refusing Africans visa even students if they meet the requirements . It’s a big cause of concern going through all theses processes and getting huge sum to lost if they don’t grant visa .

If you have a student job and work upto 30 hours per week. You may be able to pay it. But first, it also depends on your tuition fee balance. Please start learning the Spanish language as soon as possible

You will have to send your transcript to the embassy before 31 October. Know the date your university sent it. They ask you when you get there so that they can check for it.
What happens is that Your transcript is used to legalised your degree certificate. Without it, your degree is not legalized.

Authentication can be done for you by proxy
While legalization is selective, for police clearance, the consulate won't accept by proxy. Other documents can be done by another person for you but, not a police character

You CAN'T do Legalisation without Authentication of your documents. You can go to Abuja ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs and do it yourself if you wish. But you NEED an Authenticated documents for Legalisation

Could you please provide guidance on finding more affordable accommodation in Spain? The least expensive studio I have found so far costs between 550 and 1000 euros per month in a shared space. This seems costly, especially when considering the country's minimum wage. As an international student planning to come to Spain for my master's degree, the accommodations I have come across are charging excessive fees for accommodation reservations needed for applying for my student visa at the Spanish Embassy. I cannot afford to pay the above amount per month for a shared studio apartment in Barcelona. Initially, I thought I could find a place for around 300 to 350 euros per month within my budget, but it has been difficult to find. All the residences my institution connected me to in Spain are charging a minimum of 550 to 1000 euros, which is far above my budget. I really need to obtain a certified booking for accommodation to apply for a student visa as it is a requirement.

I'm hoping the embassy has a positive approval rate for student visas. My university requires full tuition payment or a 50% deposit upfront. Unfortunately, they mentioned that €2,000 enrollment fee is non-refundable from the tuition deposit that will be paid if the visa is refused by the embassy , which is a cause of concern for me considering the amount is huge .
Because these EU Schengen countries always refusing Africans visa even students if they meet the requirements . It’s a big cause of concern going through all theses processes and getting huge sum to lost if they don’t grant visa .

2. You don't need a marriage certificate if you are going alone but if you have intentions of bringing your husband later, please legalize the marriage Certificate now
3. The relationship between the sponsor and the beneficiary needs to be strong enough to show the sponsor can pull through. So you have to prove that to them

But there is something I wish to know about proof of fund, I am a civil engineer with a registered company but I work in a real Estate company, I don't have Tax clearance or bank account for my registered company, I am using my saves account for my POF, I only have CAC certificate and memorandum of Articles of association.

No body is asking you to explain anything. Just show that the money is available for you and if it is yours by being in your account. That's a strong POF

Hello sir, in the requirements sent to me by Embassy, I saw that I can submit my degree certificate or Transcript, and also, my transcript should come directly from school.
I have requested my school to send the transcript to the embassy.
My concern is..
I sent my documents for authentication and on getting to Abuja, the person said I have to send down waec certificate again and that my school also need to send message to the ministry of foreign affairs confirming that my certificate is genuine.
All these will take time because my legalisation date is 28th of this month..

2. Yes, it's a good thing. But make sure someone is sponsoring you or you have enough money for all the school fees for and living expenses for the whole time
Go with the land document for legalization, have the money available, incase they want to legalise it. It will be their choice to Add it or not
