Justin, you totally nailed this one. There are a lot of versions out there that aren't worth performing for others. I love your version and the chord voicings you use!
What a great tutorial, by the best instructor I've found over lots of years. I love this arrangement, and the way you started with the easy first, and the way you sing it to give us context. I hope you're making a great living. Cheers brother.
Terrific job! Have been practicing and working on my own lesson for this too; it is a testament to the song's greatness that it can be approached in a few different ways. Definitely learned a few things here. Thanks!
I follow your lessons since years. It may be from the beginning. But imo "Sweet Caroline" is one of the best lessons you´ve ever made. You´re great, dude
If i have a few tins i might start calling it my birdie finger too. This lesson makes me like this song all over again. You are a great player and teacher justin!
Brilliant... i only just discovered your channel... you seem to pick some great catchy tunes that I wouldn't even think of playing... great work. You look like your having a good time too...
LOVE the way you show all the various ways to play a song from simplest to more complex and closer to the actual song. Even if one is at the more complex level it is still interesting to see the easy to hard translations ... "if that makes sense". ( threw that in as it is a line you use often ... and it is a very likable way you have with expressions like that )
Justin - I just got your Rock Songbook... Just fantastic! The layout of the song and your breakouts on what parts are tricky are great. At 42 and having started seriously playing about 14 months ago, I have found your videos and now that book to be just invaluable! My mates that I play with are amazed at how I am acquiring songs at a record pace (at least compared to them) - so THANK YOU!
I love this version. Great instruction, great quality audio and video, and you've given us lots of choices. Thank you very much for sharing your skills with us. You're a natural teacher. I hope you keep it up for years to come.
Thanks Justin! I too enjoyed the lesson. I have always wanted to play this song. I second what Jimmy D. said. As always your lessons are fantastic. Thanks Much!
This lesson gave me a 5 month learner a major "ah haa!!" moment -- helped cement chords and triads around the fret board! I can now see little (and full) chords everywhere! Here's an A, there's D, and another and another ...... Thanks for your creativity and ever so well done method of teaching.
My favorite tutorial on this song. Not only is it the best interpretation in my opinion, but Justin's teaching method is infused with a lot of positive energy that makes learning the song a pleasure. :)
Nice job Justin!! I really like that you show how to play these basic cords all over the neck. Love learning those triads and partial cords. Thank you.
There's really no reason why. The Fenway "song chooser" so to speak back in 1998 thought it sounded good. Everyone responded well, fans and players alike, and it just became a thing. It's a great song to play. It gets everyone on their feet singing along.
Oh the drone on the E string and picking the melody with my BIRDY finger is going to piss me off .....at least for a few minutes.....now Everytime I flip someone the bird I'm gonna think of Justin for the rest of my life..Thanks for that Justin...haha
"Sweet Caroline... Buh Buh Buh!!!!" Thanks Justin!
Justin you are an EXCELLENT teacher. I really enjoy your lessons and your super personality. Thanks and keep up the Great work.

Here come my fellow Boston Red Sox fans. I'll never understand why this song is so popular at Fenway!
There's really no reason why. The Fenway "song chooser" so to speak back in 1998 thought it sounded good. Everyone responded well, fans and players alike, and it just became a thing. It's a great song to play. It gets everyone on their feet singing along.
Tim Langevin It's for the pink hats.
