Hi just passed my A test. Freshest info as of 10/2022 Must have: must know: headphones WITH A JACK L vest Learner permit Motorbike papers plus killowats certificate if needed. Know your signs Don't be scared you'll fly through it Make sure you do your observations and know your position on the road and don't forget to cancel your indicator. If I passed it anyone can as I have never sat on a bike before this. Best of luck to all
My test lasted 20 minutes and I basically drove down a straight road and then back past my house. No idea why it was so short and easy. When he asked me to pull back into the centre I thought I’d failed for some reason. All the training around weird one ways and hairpin corners on hills was pointless for the test but glad I learned it all obviously 😂. I got 50/50 and 75/75 on my theory aswell. 😂 got 1 minor on my mod 1 for going 49 through the speed trap. I went into every test convinced I would fuck it up and never slept a wink the night prior.
Thanks for the tips bud👍 As of June 2023 you still need your own earphones. Wearing all essential bike gear including trousers, jacket gloves etc definitely helps with the examiners 1st impression. Definitely make sure you have proof of power for your motorbike as most have the 55555kw because of it being an import. 🏍️👍
@@bitofcraic Unfortunately I failed. Observation and turning left were my two biggest problems. He thought I was doing my lifesavers too late and that I wasn't close enough to the curb when turning left. Next time! 😎
@@bitofcraic I PASS from the first time. Life long dream came true, now riding every day with my Triumpph Street twin. Study hard, be very polite and respect your examine then you will be fine. Wasn't easy for sure, need to know everytihng related to motorcyckle and drive perfectly.
Any chance you could tell me the distance in width for the u-turn? I emailed the RSA but no response! I have heard it is 24 feet but would be nice to be sure.
No lad unless you have completed the IBT as compulsory plus need it for insurance...then have to wait on learner permit 6 months..but i just did IBT and around January 2024 going to apply for test as i be 6 months in March on learner permit...if you leave it 6 months god knows how long you will wait for a test.

You forgot to mention bike insurance and road tax
They didn’t ask me where my oil went and they provided headphones for me
