I am Hindu, but I studied in a Christian school. They never imposed Christianity in us. My Christian friends would have a subject called Christianity while we guys would just have moral science. There was a church outside my school, where I would go to pray along with my friends. I love Jesus.

God is always behind the scene. There were times I doubted myself, but I never lost hope in God because I believe in His promises. He saved my life numerous times.

This was the first band and concert i got into in the beginning of my faith.. i went to two of his concerts.. i had that new and happy love for Jesus (you know how new believers are lol) and i remember sitting in the audience and maybe i was sitting or something when everyone else stood..not sure..but i remember that the lead singer looked toward my section and said something about seeing the demon on some of us.. looking back on all the things Jesus has transformed with me since that moment i now know how naive anx ignorant i was regarding my faith. The devil will challenge you. He will fight for your soul. Being with Jesus doesnt always mean happiness, joy, peace, contentment.. expect discipline, expect trials, tribulation and sometimes silence.. once you are 100% sure in your belief He will let the enemy knock you around a little bit so that ypu understand a few things.. paul had a thorn in his side.. he had people follow him from town to town trying to kill him.. he was slandered and tricked... but it gave him the best relationship with Jesus. Dont give up.. in Him ypu are strong ❤

How can I walk about from the One who saved my life, literally, on an old abandoned highway in Shreveport, LA, when I was hit from behind by a truck while cycling. That I survived is proof that, as Brandon Lake says, I am a "miracle child," because that's what you call someone who sustains a severe TBI and comes out of a four-day coma without cognitive deficits typical of that kind of injury. I can't walk away. Impossible. Try as I might, the idea that I can find life outside of God isn't something that I entertain too long. Being saved physically and spiritually is the greatest gift I've been given!!

It's truly a scary thought, because we know that Christ and the LORD are the only thing keeping us together. @@JordanJusthere Thanks, Jordan. It might appear that this journey I'm on has been an easy time full of revelations and without struggle. Oh, that is far from the truth. It's songs like this that keep me balanced when parts of my life want me to give in and not see God's goodness. It's a struggle to watch my son Luke, who sustained his own TBI in a motor vehicle accident almost a year ago, emerge from a two-day coma without any overt recognition that God gave him his own miracle recovery. At age 19, perhaps such a response is something I should expect from someone without the level of maturity six decades of live have given me. Still, watching him worship his money and cars and tattoos and dyed hair and ear piercings is something I never imagined when I became a parent in 2005. I will never be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but the struggle to trust that God will "save" my little Luke is real and sometimes crippling. Please pray for him, for his younger brothers Joshua and Samuel who also aren't walking with Jesus the way I expect them to, to return to the foundation I tried to establish when I was changing their diapers and singing Jesus Loves You. Thank you!!!
@@scottlapointpsyd2399 I can only imagine what your journey or anyone else’s is like past and future because I know my own journey, which has been riddled with hardship and sadness, though looking back and even now I know that I only survived through so much because God has been watching over me. It’s the same way that you know He watched over you and your son too, which is so amazing. I’ll just share this, I turned away from Christ so hard in my 20s, I cheated and divorced my wife after joining the Army and went from being this quiet well behaved child to a monster of a man. I was drinking 24/7 doing drugs, fighting, cheating some more, having sex with any and everything, tried to commit suicide multiple times, I was gay and would even get so angry that I would fight with the people I dated. I was truly and utterly a sinner and lost, disgusting behavior was second nature to me while others thought I was still this nice person. It took Christ 7 years to get to me and save me, it took me going to jail and for Him to use my cell mate who asked me randomly after waking up and meeting me for the first time, “God wanted me to ask you are you ready to stop running away and do what you’re supposed to do.” I gave my life to Christ on that dirty cell floor, and in an instant He healed the storm that was my mind. I was hurt for years over my childhood and He calmed it in me without me even asking. I’m sober, I’m no longer angry, I’m the calmest and happiest I have ever been in my whole life. I’m learning at 30 that redemption is through Christ and God alone, and honestly nothing I ever did came close to this feeling. When I finally started talking to my mom again she told me that she knew God would bring me back and show me the way because she believed. So continue to place your hopes in Christ, no matter what, He will look after your children, just have faith.
