Minecraft escape rooms are getting too easy, so here's one with a twist. I can control time -- freeze and manipulate it to my advantage. This made the puzzles far more tricky and strange than anything I had seen before. Can I beat the time control escape room? Let's find out...

I clicked on this thinking it would be an escape room that wanted you to switch Minecraft versions for each challenge. Like some glitches would only be possible in certain versions, so you'd have to figure out which version you needed to be in. That would have been cool.
at which point they just get their bookshelves, enchanting tables, and end portals from that one snapshot, and cheese the whole thing

ways to cheese this escape room (u can comment if u found another cheese):
Room 1:
u can beat the first room by just using the terracota as a block, since the dragon egg is not a full block, u can climb the egg, and with a bit a parkour u can save one more block for the second room.
Room 2:
u can maybe kill Gerard if u knockback him into the right place?
Room 3:
u can bring the 2 soul soil if it doesn't drop towards the lava. or u can use the sign + soul soil to block the lava and save the 2 blue ice and the 2 soul soil, and maybe the sign too?
and of course u can cheese the other rooms with the extra items.
Your room 1 idea won't work. The terracotta is way too fat away

Why would you kill Gerard what would that even do? You can't ride a ghast I feel like you're just pulling stuff outta thin air without testing it I give you the 3rd room could be easily cheesed but it's such a boring solution he did the more interesting one.
Maybe if you used f5 more often you would have beaten the rooms faster as f5 would give you a whole new perspective.

his solution was probably more difficult than the intended one, but its also more cool. the map craetor was probs like "uh-- yea, thats what i wanted you to do!"
You could've grabbed the soul soil after doing that basalt generator puzzle. It would've made the puzzles a lot easier.

Unless you can't pick up blocks in frozen time and/or they just don't drop in frozen time. If all else fails, break and place until all of the source blocks are gone, lol.
14:03 - "To my shock it actually worked." Bro you literally JUST did the same thing with the dripstone. Why WOULDN'T it work?
16:30 - Don't keep progressing time while up there, then??? Jump down, remove the item from the clock, then catch the emerald once it falls below! On the off chance that it somehow lands on the portal frame despite the momentum an item is supposed to generate when punched out of an item frame, you could always restart again, right? You already speed-ran your way back when the pig died earlier, so you're clearly willing to do it!
Also, he didn't have to die. Had you jumped down earlier, he wouldn't have dropped that last bit of health. (Then there's also the fact that he got hit by over 10 arrows, each of which deal 4 damage without potion effects or armor, which means that the villager either had the health boost effect, the resistance effect, or projectile protection armor.)
2. I think he was talking about being able to climb them.
3. Either way he's risking having to restart, I don't see why your suggestion is any better.
Gonna answer some of the most common comments I've seen:
- "Just use item frames to break the dragon egg!!" Uh no, item frames are entities and don't do anything to dragon eggs.
- "Just use tick sprint to force the vines to grow fast!!" Nope, random tick speed was on 0. Also, I don't see how this would've helped.
- "Just collect the soul soil after you used it to cross the lava!" There was almost certainly more lava below it, it (and he) would've burned.
There are more but these were the most common ones I saw.

@@SuperHGB I dunno about that. The escape room has many mistakes that ken probably wouldn't make. I mean, on room three, you dont even have to trigger the dispenser, you can just right click to open, and same goes with room 2. I think this is a great showcase for the time freeze function but it is just not that much of a good escape room.

fun fact that 5 block jump is makeable without knockback. If you jump next to the pig right near the edge the collision of the hitbox can increase your momentum making it possible. Furthermore I was testing hitting the pig as you jump, which gave initial momentum boost and secondary momentum boost when the pig that was sprint punched hits again from behind. I made it 5.5 blocks I reckon so maybe 6 is possible with a perfect double push. Also pigs hitbox seemed to work the best for this.

Debunk the 2nd, make it tick freeze and just break the dragon egg. Since time is frozen, the dragon egg will not teleport.
Note: you can break the dragon egg with your fist.
That dispenser puzzle wouldve been really cool if they used calibrated skulk sensors and had it so you had to jump to trigger it and then throw items to trigger a different item
I have a Minecraft theory that the extinction was all by 1 person , if you look at other Minecraft games there is a common occupancy of singular villain Ivan from story mode and the lil ills get dude from dungeons we see how powerful a wither can be with a command block and the ancient builders tried to escape but many were caught in different scenarios some fled to end and due to radiation became endermen who have men in the name and speak English backwards also zombies may have been due to infection caused by the wither which leaves a decaying rose behind and zombie skin is also decaying
There were many settlements meaning that all of them were not co existi as one like trail ruins ocean monuments temples and deep dark ruin thingymajigs and that leads me to believe that the last of them are trapped into the 4 dimension , in the sculk
portal which is a direct opposite of the aether which is nice bright and above ground compared to dark underground and dull , this was either an escape plan for the builders or the evil ones base as the warden has souls inside which leads to unethical experiments and show that he has his hands everywhere but the end which adds to its name as the end plan or final destination as nether fortresses in the nether and deep dark things in the over world however he couldn’t find the stronghold no matter how hard he looked so he made his own portal the deep dark one and went in that is why no one know what the inside looks like and no stone carvings which are common for explored places

and later on make 3 blocks with that bonemeal, or save it for the weeping vine room, saving you dripstone, which you can use to get the emeralds earlier on the second last room

Really cool puzzle ideas, but I didn't really like the lava shaft with the sign asking not to disconnect glitch, all you have to do is have some blocks and pistons blocking off the shaft and make the puzzle about unpowering/powering them, then you can actually incorporate the disconnect glitch into the puzzle instead of subverting it entirely with a polite ask that... literally no one else would follow
Maybe stopping the lava flow is your goal, to power an observer on a redstone timer watching the lava's flow, that opens the door but doesn't open it long enough for you to climb back out of the lava shaft and get through
11:55 In this room, you could just put the vines on the terracotta next to the exit, sprint the time so they grow, then freeze the game and break the block you'd get to the next room and also save the dripstone. I tried it and it's possible

Tickspeed was 0, this wouoldn't have worked.
"Cause someone's using up all the RAM" Solution: STOP ALL TASKS FROM CHROME (Also your PC must be shittier then mine if it can't run what I assume is VANILLA Minecraft while also running chrome at the same time, time was still frozen as you didn't use the command that unfreezes time, AND there's no way you had two tabs opened and Chrome was using over 2000 mb of RAM as that would mean you had more then doubled the tabs you said you had opened at the same time)

Bone meal on the weeping vines would give you 10+ blocks or you could speed up the game to get infinite. It’s kinda cheap but you could have beaten the map in around 5 mins.
For puzzle one you could put sand over the water put a item frame under the terracotta and then break the terracotta that makes the dragon egg fall on the item frame and drop
Idea: an escape room but you can change the size of mobs and yourself with scale attribute command.
