Hi Kat. I have seen a few Ayahuasca ceremonies. I agree with you that so much is about the facilitator. Any problem I have heard of goes back to the facilitator. And people seem to be very willing to put their trust someone who does not have the proper training or bad intentions. It is to bad there is not a system to train and certify people. Of course, if you did that the pharmaceutical companies might strike back. Can't have happy healthy people, their profit margins would suffer.
Thank you for your share! Yes, it is so common. The only training there is, is through an traditional Indigenous approach , which requires deep shadow work, initiations, apprenticeship and time. I fully believe in and trust in the traditional ways of becoming an Ayahuasca facilitator. On the other hand, people who still train in this way will not always have th. best intentions, so we must spread awareness on having discernment and knowing that it is okay and necessary to interview your guide to make sure they are safe and the right fit for you.
UK media reporting Maureen's death occurred in Bolivia, I was sitting here mourning this tragedy thinking to the how and why when a large spider appeared by my foot, not sure what to make of this as it's the middle of winter here that's not normal.
I was suffering from trichotillomania and ayahuasca healed my disease. Now i am on pinon blanco diet and i dont feel an urge to repeat destructive behavior
It’s heartbreaking. 💔
agreed :(
