I think a majority of people would draw or trace their favorite cartoon characters growing up when they were learning to draw- again nothing wrong with that, just be very careful and do not claim the artwork as being your own entirely

I think people are purposely being obtuse when they say things like “no one “owns” laying down” , or “you can’t copyright cat ears”. The issue of copyright and “who would win the legal battle” is just a small part of the problem. It’s someone posing as a creative when they’re not. It’s them making a profit off of someone else’s creativity and passion. I don’t mean to get all hooky, but being able to express your inner ideas , your mind, and emotions beautifully IS a skill. If you're going to trace a pose use it as reference to understand the structure of the pose, don't then apply changes to the trace to make your piece. If I'm going to trace a pose, I'm then going to study it to see if understand it, then get a 3D model and post it close to that pose then use the 3D model as my next reference. Don't care if it's more steps... it's better then not understanding the pose and completely using another artists art as a base. Like the pose?...then learn and make your own version of it =table flip= I know time saving is great when trying to make a living, but not when you're using someone else time and effort to make your own art. 5:48 I was going to say this doesn't look traced, just referenced the pose... until I noticed the "unique" shape of the chin such a shame. funnily enough this kinda reminds me of cheating in speedrunning. In speedrunning, the people who cheat are never beginners or people who entirely suck at the game. More often than not, cheaters are really great players and very familiar with the game and community. They care about the community and the game enough to so desperately want prestige in the field as a speedrunner. Same thing with drawing. You mention that they're good at rendering so why would they trace? I think in this case it honestly makes sense that an already intermediate artist is the one who traces. They know enough about drawing to see their flaws but care so much about prestige in the community they take the lazy, easier route.
This is very unfortunate to see, they clearly have potential. There are many resources to use for references instead of just directly tracing someone else’s artwork. :(
I truly hope that there will be less people like this one in my community. I promise, there are so many russian artists who are amazing people and don't take advantages of others for personal gain. I feel the need to elaborate due to obvious reasons, please don't automatically think lowly of other artists from here. I've seen my sweet friends get put in the same category as these "artists" and it's very disheartening.
Every day im glad i got rid of my twitter art account for my bluesky. Also a good point I tend to do if i ever see an artwork i want to take inspiration from i remake the pose in PoseMyArt and use that for the drawing insted and dont even look at the artwork as i draw my own.
Tracing is still wrong even if it doesnt fall under copyright. In my opinion, tracing is equivalent to stealing someones video but replacing their voice with yours
I know it’s not as new news as a lot of these stories you cover (at least until they kick off their next arc), but have you ever considered talking about the vanillakitsune/stripesandteeth/ashketchumsays situation?
How do we feel about tracing over photos we've taken ourselves of ourselves? I've done it a few times when I've tried hard to draw a pose but just can't get it or find an appropriate reference. I feel like it always looks different by the end because I still tweak it a lot to look like the character I'm aiming for but it's still nice to give my brain training wheels (especially with having aphantasia like I do)
I commented about a similar thing under another comment, I don't think tracing is necessarily bad IF it's strictly for your own personal use and development especially using your own reference photos. As long as you're not tracing any artists' real work and then publishing it as yours then you're good. Real photos that you take and tracing it would be fine in my eyes, nobody is going to come for you and say you traced your own self or your own picture like it wouldn't make sense. Definitely use it to help you understand the shapes and anatomy and all that, but try to eventually practice on your own and take time to understand after you traced it. Trust me, after you understand the basics and practice more without tracing you will get the hang of it if you keep at it consistently. Consistency and practice is key
The moral of this lesson is just to develop your own style. I have also traced in the beginning, but I already stopped and I now use only human references (cosplays etc) and I develop my own art style by studying life instead of other artists. So many of this pretty anime style is being stolen and it's insane. Honestly Noct is an amazing artist, I hope they will genuinely learn how to draw from scratch
5:36 i would say that it is not a trace but rather a heavily referenced pose. Because when you compare them side by side, the piece is not the same. Even the pose and the angle is is not the same.
After a closer inspection, i think that the only traced thing on this piece is just the Idea. The Hands and fingers are different and doing different poses. This is more of the Artist own interpertation of the original piece rather than tracing. Reference Yes, traced Unlikely. The rest though yeah its very obvious.
@@froggycolouring i supposed maybe? Cause even if we are going to point out that they are referencing other piece, they are not that similar. At that point it feels like we are just nitpicking.
I always dm artist if I could use their pose if I like the pose that much because I don’t want ppl to say I copy when at the end of the day I ask the artist themselves
Question, since I'm a beginner-ish artist and I am trying to learn how to do better poses. You know those figure references on google, are they like, okay to trace over it? Like there is nothing besides a base and the shapes and such. I do digital and traditional, so when I do traditional I obviously can't draw over something. I need to know so I can learn another way on digital.
i dont get it why dont she just do rendering services? By the way, legit question cus i commission arts and just wish to know. i always see a character in a pose i think would fit my OC and so i would ask for commissions to give me something similar/same pose. Is that considered wrong? Cus there's only so many ways someone can interprete "please draw my oc lounging on her bed on her stomach. I wish to have her face visible so please prop her up on her arms." in a work. Is this person in trouble becus she also copied the hairs, eyes ,faces and used another copyrighted work's moon and clouds? Cus i didn't think the one where she used 2 pieces meshed together is wrong 9:06 but kat is saying it is too. (i understand the game controller on her hand being exact same is wrong only)
No way people are bringing fair use into tracing. It’s not fair use because the purpose was for profit, and additionally the change isn’t enough to be considered it’s own (being a nearly direct recreation of the original work). Of course I’m no lawyer, I just did some research through publicly available websites, so take this with a grain of salt. Tbh it looks like the screenshot they showed for fair use was from Google’s Ai overview of searches so uhh….
one question if i were to buy/commission art by a art stealer or ai user and spent a lot on money on the art and they were to get outed on the art and how its ai or stolen can i still use them for a ending screen or anything else or?
I don’t understand why people do this! Like, if your drawing is behind your rendering but you want to make sure you have a baseline quality in commission pieces, free and legal options for 3D models as reference and custom tracing material are right there! CSP, Blender, Daz3D! All awesome and free resources! I mean, heck, even the great and mighty WLOP uses Daz3D and Blender for that exact reason!
“Fair use”? Bruh that stuff don’t apply to art work Fair use of artwork I think should be its own written thing. 1. Tracing others work for studies and such MUST be credited and you must ask for permission before posting 2. If you bought an art work, traced it, posted it without credit and proof of reference that is still an offence I’m sure there’s more we can do but hopefully yall get the idea Kinda wanna make a video on this myself, if anyone wants to comment their two cents on the subject please do
Fair use does apply to artworks though, I do agree it _should_ be it’s own law. Also on 2, if you buy the commercial rights to an artwork you’re technically allowed to do that (different from just buying the art).
early! also why would you trace from many different people? i mean yea, sometimes you just trace the pose, but it just looks weird how your pencil makes a different style every time it touches the paper.
Why don’t people just follow the reference rule for animation? You want a pose? Take a picture of yourself in that pose, reference it, hell you can even draw over it as a guide. I have a folder FULL of me in stupid poses or doing certain movements for animation and drawing. You get the reference you need and you’re not violating another person’s art. Your only concern at that point is making sure a buddy deletes that folder when you pass so no one sees all those embarrassing references. (i.e. a full grown man making kitty poses)
these comments you read piss me tf off sometimes "erm actually posing in a specific way has been around for eons" maybe if you like looked at the post for more then a second you'd actually get it!!!! reading comprehension has existed for eons too and your not doing it!!!!
Man i do trace BUT i like to trace a skeleton of the pose. If i see a pose from another artist i like i would draw the skeleton myself but if im struggling i would trace a skeleton over their art not trace the whole thing
I mean I trace stuff all the time but I don’t go around posting it without the reference much less profiting off of it. Like recently I traced my BG3 characters a bit but that just stays on my iPad and shown to a couple of friends.
The guy saying it isn't Tracing clearly hasn't been in the art community long. Tracing can be okay, as to learn and get a better grip on anatomy and animation. Disney is known to trace their old hand drawn animations. The thing is Disney owns the IP to their old work and can trace it. It's widely considered wrong to post your traced work unless you credit the original artist. If she wanted to make money off it she could have refinanced the pose or took a picture of herself doing the pose to trace or find a 3D model in the art program if it has one.
I despise people that defend this behavior by saying things like "you don't own laying down/butterflies/kitsune". Sure, but all three at the same time? Be so fr.
One artwork shown doesn't really fully fall under the term tracing (like the kitsune ych.) It isn't really traced (except for the tail and the butterflies), but it just feels TOO similar. There is a term for copying someone elses ideas and presenting them as your own, and thats ✨plagiarism✨ The ych, even though it's drawn differently, uses most of the concept and ideas from the original drawing. The art doesn't include a credit to the original artist, therefore, it's presented as it's own original piece. So the artist is a tracer and a plagiarist. Art is original due to the combination of unoriginal ideas. Some primary components of the original artwork were the composition, pose, species, the forest background and the consistent inclusion of butterflies. Some minor components were specific clothing (like shoes, bandages, robe etc), tattoos, hairstyle, facial expression, flowers, tails etc. The only new ideas added to the ych was the stocking on one of the legs, the expression, parts of the hairstyle and the background. Most of the ideas in the ych (inclusion of butterflies, hairstyle, species, pose, tail, specific shoes, composition) were directly taken from the original artwork. Not including some ideas from the original artwork (robe, bandages, tattoos etc) isn't good enough to merely call it inspired, as the ych doesn't seem to have taken enough inspiration from other references, therefor not contributing enough new ideas to make the ych original. Just brought this up as someone in the twitter thread commented about how "the rest just looks referenced" and ""laying down" as a pose in art has been around for centuries".
Ok but two things to consider for future situations like this: if only the pose is traced, a lot of artists trace over photos or pose references to speed up the art process being a commercial artist can take up your entire time, going as far as not sleeping to squeeze in a commission because you can't pay your bills otherwise or increase your prices at the moment. Is that a great tactic? No I personally only use it for personal pieces because i don't have the time to spend 3 hours on just a basic pose if i have 3 hours for the whole piece to begin with so in case of nothing but a pose lining up, especially if the poses have subtle variations, its best to look for a reference image that looks identical and check if they didn't accidentally use the same one. As for the butterflies: Those look a lot like clip studio assets ive seen in the shop before. Them being the same ones obviously implies tracing but just using the same asset can happen to anyone, and it's important to consider the placement and context of certain elements as well as looking for assets that look the same. Now yes, that person did trace and yes their waste of talent and skill is sad to see, as well as seeing the reactions of people finding out their hard work was stolen for profit. But since the internet loves to accuse anyone and anything at the drop of a hat, i want to remind people that within the art industry there are certain tricks that a lot of artists use to make their careers sustainable until their prices can match the workload they can realistically take on. Please always check for references, assets and other means of figuring out how two pieces share certain elements before ruining someone's reputation. It has happened before and it is incredibly devastating.
Ehh, to be fair, being honest about your work doesn't really give alot of benefits because I see artists who paint really well with a unique style but only has 600 followers. With tracers getting thousands over literally unoriginal artworks makes tracing really attractive. There's no point calling out tracers if there is so much incentive to trace. This will never change until honest artists gets rewarded more than 600 followers for being honest.
I must admit half the time when I draw digitally I trace a pose from random pinterest posts, whether that's a picture or an anime still or someone's sketch base that ended up on there, due to proportions being impossible for me to freehand due to my severe sight loss and the box method not working(been trying for a decade both traditional and digital). I don't sell it I rarely even show people my art cos I know it is messy and blocky and looks like it was done by a child and not a full-grown adult as I'm reminded when I do share something I made
Because the tracer made a lot of money off of traced works. And artists automatically own the copyright to any of their artworks so if it's stolen, yes it could become an issue of copyright. I seriously doubt though anyone would want to go through the trouble of taking it to court, it's moreso just being discussed so the tracer can understand the potential consequences they could face if they continued. It's to show severity.
FIRST OF ALL: this is NOT about that guy who stole and traced to do commissions, iam only talking about MYSELF here iam fine with tracingpersonally for me , as long if it is not a commission, i personally only trace from official art (the faces) from games, or reallife humans who pose, because my drawings are for me, if i do commissions, i wont trace, iam fine doing no tracing, but sometimes i just for personal use dont care and dont want to give more time figuring out poses etc myself. I see no problem in that, because again: its for me personal and on the other hand, as i said, only official art, i would never trace anything from creators who arent official artists for games. iam not very good at english but i hope my explaination wont get teared apart and used against me, because as i said, only private, no commissions and all drawings i post are not traced too, because they not private
people saying "you don't own a pose" are dumb.. this clearly ISN'T a case of doing the same pose, THE LINES ALIGN PERFECTLY.. which ONLY happens when you trace.... they could have done the same pose, that's not the problem, the problem is that they didn't and choose to take the effort and time other person put into making that pose, into making THOSE EXACT LINES...
@@Lucas66393their work passes copyright. If commissioners want their money back on some of these pieces tho I’d say they deserve it; the artist should’ve been forward with their process
Tracing is bad yes but i would take the life ending thing with a grain of salt. People end their life due to people who call them out because some people are so nasty that they send death threats. i dont protect that person because im an artist myself but we know how nasty people can be because of the anonimity of the internet. Like imagine a person takes their own life because of such a thing? How would yall feel bfr ... i think if the person REALLY stops and REALLY apologized in private to the artists the thing should be dropped to prevent further bullying
If it's traced, then yeah that's dumb. But if it's just a pose that's refferenced I don't see the harm. I refference so many artworks to make my own since I can't easily visualize and draw out what I'd like without the help of an actual picture. So. Tracing is indeed bad. Pose refferences, ect, fair game as long as it is not 1/1 and uncredited. Hope this makes sense.
It's giving me second hand embarrassment. "Conservatism" in its literal sense of preserving something is shoved so far down our throats, that proper respect for people's work never truly developed I guess lol. For me its even more disappointing to see, cause ppl like this drama queen may be the reason why potential clients won't trust me as much, due to past experiences w these types of "artists" :/
lmao. such a racism comment. where the artist lives has nothing to do with tracing or something. there are so many talented people from Russia who can draw not Only Anime faces, btw. it seems you see not a problem with topic from video, but another reason to hate someone. that's sad also
@@toxicxpaws Are Russians a separate race? Oh, I didn't know. I did not ignore the problem in the video, I just said that I was not surprised that this person turned out to be Russian. I don't care about an artist's talent if his personality is shit, I was not surprised by the nationality of this artist simply because I was in the Russian art community for a long time, even after Russia attacked my country and I really saw the personality of most artists whose work I was interested in. you artists are complicated... - complain when people like me use AI to skip the long learning curve - complain when people borrow too much element from another artist i start to feel you only like when someone do their work "the one way" how you learned art back then... but times are changing, and i'm happy for it... i like to only sketch my art, and finish it with AI, since its so much faster, than rendering and detailing the art for myself...
Artists spent their time learning to do things on their own. Assuming you use genAI, you're using their work because you can't be bothered to put in the effort to learn. Why should there be any sympathy for that? If you're using AI that pulls elements from your own work, then sure, go ahead. But if it's outsourced, you're the problem.
There's a difference between referencing and tracing. Sadly artists are human and they're not perfect. Some artists are too in their ego with people taking from them but it happens with everyone, even people who use ai art. You can never skip the, "you stole from me" accusations, but if you traced and take 90% of an illustration from someone else, that's a problem. And skipping the learning curve is only a temporary solution imo, it can never replace foundations
"People are calling me out for not putting in the effort to learn and appreciate my craft. Stealing elements from other artists and calling it my own work is completely justifiable!" There's nothing wrong with AI art if you are simply taking inspiration or using it for fun. Although in this case the only thing you've actually drawn is the sketch. Unless you deliberately state the the rendering is done by AI, then it is scummy to say, "hey, look at all this work I did!" when all you've done is the sketch. Just like how you cannot submit an essay written by Chatgpt even if the instructions were written by yourself. You can yake credit for the sketch, but once you've put the thing through AI, you have to be honest about the AI's contribution to the image.

Edit: if time is a issue could also raise your prices =shrug= and always reference irl outfits vs other peoples art if you can, because it gets too close to over references if you copy the body proportions in those outfits
funnily enough this kinda reminds me of cheating in speedrunning.
Which really sucks because if they were to yk, just TRY, literally just TRY and take the more honest route they would be way more respected and loved
So agree!
Kat, I feel like if you browsed DA as well as Twitter then you would never run out of potential content lol. Drama there is just as crazy.
Every day im glad i got rid of my twitter art account for my bluesky. Also a good point I tend to do if i ever see an artwork i want to take inspiration from i remake the pose in PoseMyArt and use that for the drawing insted and dont even look at the artwork as i draw my own.
Copyright deals with all published works. Videos, books, art etc.
Tracing is still wrong even if it doesnt fall under copyright. In my opinion, tracing is equivalent to stealing someones video but replacing their voice with yours
all artists work is automatically copyrighted. It doesn't have to be published. By finishing a painting, artists gain automatic copyright.
ive been binge watching ur videos for the past few days because ur voice is actually so nice .. ty for daily vids
I know it’s not as new news as a lot of these stories you cover (at least until they kick off their next arc), but have you ever considered talking about the vanillakitsune/stripesandteeth/ashketchumsays situation?
I use El poser to find my own pose to help me draw my oc or art. like be creative with it, don't trace other artist to find a pose
That's A-OK.
You can trace your own work or your own photos bc it’s your own stuff, but you can’t trace others work without their permission and being dishonest.
I still think referencing that heavily without credit isn’t okay.
@@froggycolouringWomp to the fuсking womp ig💀
@@froggycolouring i supposed maybe?
Cause even if we are going to point out that they are referencing other piece, they are not that similar.
At that point it feels like we are just nitpicking.
I love to draw to your videos. I just wish the art community can be normal for once 😭. Love your videos ❤️❤️❤️
I felt the upload
Is it still considered tracing if I only trace the body to get a similar pose and don’t trace it exactly?
I don’t understand why people do this! Like, if your drawing is behind your rendering but you want to make sure you have a baseline quality in commission pieces, free and legal options for 3D models as reference and custom tracing material are right there! CSP, Blender, Daz3D! All awesome and free resources! I mean, heck, even the great and mighty WLOP uses Daz3D and Blender for that exact reason!
i have never been so early for any video that the upload time is in SECONDS
“Fair use”? Bruh that stuff don’t apply to art work
Fair use of artwork I think should be its own written thing.
1. Tracing others work for studies and such MUST be credited and you must ask for permission before posting
2. If you bought an art work, traced it, posted it without credit and proof of reference that is still an offence
I’m sure there’s more we can do but hopefully yall get the idea
Kinda wanna make a video on this myself, if anyone wants to comment their two cents on the subject please do
Fair use does apply to artworks though, I do agree it _should_ be it’s own law.
Also on 2, if you buy the commercial rights to an artwork you’re technically allowed to do that (different from just buying the art).
katliente i would like to ask if i take a photo of myself then i go to trace it would it still count as traceing someones work/illustration?
No, you own the photo. If it’s someone else’s photo, maybe, but if it’s your photo than its 100% yours.
8:39 the ears are basically one to one what they did was just make the right ear bigger than the one from the original piece :/
early! also why would you trace from many different people? i mean yea, sometimes you just trace the pose, but it just looks weird how your pencil makes a different style every time it touches the paper.
Why do some artists tracing original artwork are they still kids😂 there's many apps for referencing poses just like referencing 3d dummies
my art mom and rig mom are both in the vtuber news in the last month , what is life
i still dont understand artists who have so much skill and trace like..
can u teach me how to call them artists?
Man i do trace BUT i like to trace a skeleton of the pose. If i see a pose from another artist i like i would draw the skeleton myself but if im struggling i would trace a skeleton over their art not trace the whole thing
I mean I trace stuff all the time but I don’t go around posting it without the reference much less profiting off of it. Like recently I traced my BG3 characters a bit but that just stays on my iPad and shown to a couple of friends.
how are you THIS good at drawing but still trace? they dont need to trace yet they still do it. its just being lazyyy 😭😭😭
Why am I now scared someone will tell me that I trace 😅( btw i`m a trad sketch artist that doesn`t post work online )
I despise people that defend this behavior by saying things like "you don't own laying down/butterflies/kitsune".
Sure, but all three at the same time? Be so fr.
So much drama this year.
How tf are people still tracing in 2024
One artwork shown doesn't really fully fall under the term tracing (like the kitsune ych.) It isn't really traced (except for the tail and the butterflies), but it just feels TOO similar.
Yeah ive found tracers that trace from multiple people to make it harder to spot
Talents being wasted.... tsk.
YYAYAYAAY
Dont get why People trace other art i meen what do they earn i whonder what god will say when they die
if you really want to learn rendering without tracing just make gacha edits
i've never been this quick 💀
Just a question. When are you going to make educational help content again? Are you primarily a drama youtube account now?
you don’t own poses or colours or elements… as long as you don’t trace over it and claim it as your own, it’s still your work
Early
Ok but two things to consider for future situations like this:
if only the pose is traced, a lot of artists trace over photos or pose references to speed up the art process
being a commercial artist can take up your entire time, going as far as not sleeping to squeeze in a commission because you can't pay your bills otherwise or increase your prices at the moment. Is that a great tactic? No
I personally only use it for personal pieces because i don't have the time to spend 3 hours on just a basic pose if i have 3 hours for the whole piece to begin with
so in case of nothing but a pose lining up, especially if the poses have subtle variations, its best to look for a reference image that looks identical and check if they didn't accidentally use the same one.
Ah yes this one
Look up Grid Drawing.
HELLOOOOO
👏
Could you explain "the essence of the piece" thing deeper?
Ehh, to be fair, being honest about your work doesn't really give alot of benefits because I see artists who paint really well with a unique style but only has 600 followers. With tracers getting thousands over literally unoriginal artworks makes tracing really attractive. There's no point calling out tracers if there is so much incentive to trace. This will never change until honest artists gets rewarded more than 600 followers for being honest.
Hellooo
I must admit half the time when I draw digitally I trace a pose from random pinterest posts, whether that's a picture or an anime still or someone's sketch base that ended up on there, due to proportions being impossible for me to freehand due to my severe sight loss and the box method not working(been trying for a decade both traditional and digital). I don't sell it I rarely even show people my art cos I know it is messy and blocky and looks like it was done by a child and not a full-grown adult as I'm reminded when I do share something I made
IM EARLY
If it's one thing that's big in the art community, it's artists bringing down every other artist every chance they get
Why are people bringing up copyright? They’re not going to court they’re having a personal issue of tracing
Oof that’s just a scam ngl
Ur hair is beautiful😫🩷🩷
FIRST OF ALL: this is NOT about that guy who stole and traced to do commissions, iam only talking about MYSELF here
iam fine with tracingpersonally for me , as long if it is not a commission, i personally only trace from official art (the faces) from games, or reallife humans who pose, because my drawings are for me, if i do commissions, i wont trace, iam fine doing no tracing, but sometimes i just for personal use dont care and dont want to give more time figuring out poses etc myself.
There's no rules that doesn't allow him to use his hand to stroke his lines in the same coordinates as someone else. It's a transformative work
@@Lucas66393their work passes copyright.
Also use a collage of refferences. Like she says. 😅
Oh yes. And why am I not surprised that this person who traced other people's drawings is a resident of Russia...
Don’t be gross. Being Russian has nothing to do with it. Don’t take away from the legitimacy of this with that kind of thing.
lmao. such a racism comment. where the artist lives has nothing to do with tracing or something. there are so many talented people from Russia who can draw not Only Anime faces, btw. it seems you see not a problem with topic from video, but another reason to hate someone. that's sad also
@@toxicxpaws Are Russians a separate race? Oh, I didn't know. I did not ignore the problem in the video, I just said that I was not surprised that this person turned out to be Russian.
I don't care about an artist's talent if his personality is shit, I was not surprised by the nationality of this artist simply because I was in the Russian art community for a long time, even after Russia attacked my country and I really saw the personality of most artists whose work I was interested in.
After the start of the war, someone kept silent about the war and only made a post/video about how bad RUclips is because it turned off monetization for Russian artists, and someone openly started supporting the destruction of Ukraine by Russia. My mistrust and bias towards Russians is well-founded, I lost my home and for three years watched as Russia killed the civilian population, including children. And when "peaceful" Russians are expelled from somewhere or someone refuse to cooperate with them, they only whine about Russophobia, as if not understanding what the matter is.
Although why am I explaining this, if Vivzipop hires Russian animators who repost misinformation about Ukraine, then you will definitely not be able to explain anything. My mistrust and reluctance to accept Russians will be for you only an inappropriate manifestation of nationalism and "Another reason to hate someone"
Its a pose, its not that big of a deal.
You wasting your time covering these type of things, it just sou ds like artists ego battles…
Not all of the drawings are traced imo, the poses and art styl r common
idc about tracing
you artists are complicated...
- complain when people like me use AI to skip the long learning curve
- complain when people borrow too much element from another artist
i start to feel you only like when someone do their work "the one way" how you learned art back then... but times are changing, and i'm happy for it...
i like to only sketch my art, and finish it with AI, since its so much faster, than rendering and detailing the art for myself...
We just want people to work on their craft WITHOUT stealing the hard work of others to do so. Its a simple wish if you ask me🤷🏽♀️
"People are calling me out for not putting in the effort to learn and appreciate my craft. Stealing elements from other artists and calling it my own work is completely justifiable!"
There's nothing wrong with AI art if you are simply taking inspiration or using it for fun.
Skip the learning curve? Youll never skip the learning curve if you don’t put in effort to actually learn
8:04 @Leahkitties work posted july 16 very similar to @alllisso earlier june 23rd art work
