because scammers are able to go with the algorithm, it's easy to be consistent and post stuff if all you're doing is taking a bunch of art from google. Real artists have to actually draw their work and edit it in a pleasing way which will take time so they don't post as often.
@Skyefrost. thank you/gen It really sucks cause even if I somehow manage to post consistent [wip, unfinished work, final design] it seem like nothing is showing

4:47 is by TwistHound. They're an insanely popular furry artist with a very distinct artstyle. Cant believe they just went with some of the biggest names out there
I think sometimes it's hard to find the original artists that these people stole from because they chose small accounts. I have less than 200 followers on Twitter and one of these type of accounts stole my art of a reference sheet to pass as their art. It was pure chance that someone saw it and informed me. There's also the chance that they steal from artists that have changed their name or watermark so it makes them harder to find 😥
1:57 That's an actual character from a videogame, called Firefly from the game Honkai: Star Rail. I don't believe it's AI, but I'm 101% sure this is traced since it looks a lot like her 3D model in-game.
As someone who is new to streaming and trying to grow on Twitter/X, Bluesky, Twitch and Kick... I get soooo so many art scammers, bots and AI image people contact me on all platforms about asking me tocommission them, even though I stress to then I do NOT have money and don't have a job. And I mean I don't mind commissioning people when I do have money on hand, but damn! I had this happen to me on Facebook where it escalated to the person asking for $1200 from me for three months of free art. Most of the art was stolen lmao

Okay, its not that deep thou. I have worked in one so i know. Basically in third world countries 30$ to 100$ dollars goes a long way and what do these countries offer (human resources). What happens is that onw guy who started this basically hiring a a artist for 30$ for example a 80$ work he gives the artists 30$ and pockets the other 50$ soon once he has made enough money through this process he hires other marketers who do the aame slowly it grows and with time they can hire (amateur) artists at like in my country 30,000 pkr which comes to around 110$ a month and yea so the art is there's just the marketing comes to ina soliciting way. (They are not scammers thou cause i have worked with one and i know they delivered on there promise)
Because of the amount of scammers it's hard for legit commission artists with a small following to find work. People only trust the well known artists at this point. I made sure to have a proper carrd, public comm tracker with timers, plenty of WIP posts and even links to past customers. But I'm still paranoid that people might avoid me because I can't break 500 followers.
I had a streange experience with an artist who reached out my "dead" instagram account (there is nothing on it right now), in DMs. She looks like a furry artist who worked on many things like 3D and 2D animation, making art and such. She looks nice, but very pushy. Becouse she really, really wants to make you some artwork or something. But never say anything about that, she want money for it or not. So at first it seems like it's free. But she is very, very pushy about it to make something for you. And the 3D modells are sus... The artworks are mostly okay sometimes changed style... but still okay I guess. But after I told her I do not have money, and I can't return the fawor in art, she told me: "Ohh dw about the payment at all u can just do a minimum upfront amount rn and the rest later whenever you can pay". And I was like, bro I just told you already I do not have money on my bank account what was true in that time. :T And after I seen she doesen't understand I don't have money and I don't want to commission her, I sent my last message and blocked her. I tried to look up her is there any artist beware or something but there is nothing about it. And no other website or social media site, she only have an insta account. Is there anyone who had similar experience?
how does scammers get so many commissions and yet real artists seem to always struggle even finding people??
Isn't it crazy how that works? The scam accounts are the ones being promoted and shown to people while real artist are shoved to the corner.

catfish art....
I’ve never clicked a video faster in my life 😭
Because of the amount of scammers it's hard for legit commission artists with a small following to find work. People only trust the well known artists at this point. I made sure to have a proper carrd, public comm tracker with timers, plenty of WIP posts and even links to past customers. But I'm still paranoid that people might avoid me because I can't break 500 followers.
I love your neckalace and hair!!
