After many thoroughly enjoyable miles and a fair few unwelcome calamities, it's finally time to wave Ian off at the ferry and draw this epic adventure to a close.

Top job! Did Nordkapp and Lofoten last year with 3 mates - it was epic! Would love to go back. There’s that much to see it hard to do Norway justice. Loved watching your vids brought back some marvellous memories. 👍👍

Really, really enjoyed the whole series. Amazing tour, cant really say anything bad about the weather either. You boys were super lucky. Never had even thought that Norway was such an beautiful country. Camera cannot pass the true sensation enough. I hope someday I will be able to visit this majestic country myself.

Just watched this trip again, mega! Curious, how did it go for Ian with accident he hade before the trip?
Cheers! Ian was mostly healed up and back to fighting fitness a month or two after this trip. Sadly didn’t get as much compensation as he hoped but the dude who hit him was prosecuted and fined.
Funnily enough, I have just sold my 2018 CB1000R to purchase a 2023 Ninja 1000

Always something so bittersweet about the end of a long tour, but thank you for sharing this trip with us all and showing the world there is far more to Norway than just the run up to Nordkapp for the sake of it. Bring on next year!!!
Watched All the videos very entertaining and scenery to die for . It's on my bucket list it would be interesting to have some info on your costings of ferry's etc. There is supposed to be a new ferry service starting from UK to Norway in 2025 that would be amazing. Ps many thanks for your efforts 😁

Thank you for sharing that fantastic series ! Norway is on the to-do list, but as you mention, Norway is just soooo incredibly expensive 😮 Will have to stick to the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Dolomites, the Picos for now. Your journey just gives even more regrets for not going up there for now : the rides and the scenery you show (was looking for an adjective for how well you did that, but can’t find the proper one… just huge kudos there) in the series seem amazing ! Thx again 🙌✌️

I may well get shot down for this but...
I went to Norway on a 3 week trip earlier this year and enjoyed it a lot, stunning scenery and very friendly people, but for me Spain is at the top of the list. The biggest reason being the roads are wider with higher speed limits, great weather and it's cheaper. For us Brits it's also easier to get to. Just my opinion and I appreciate we are all different.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant tour Andy - thanks for sharing. Your videos have been entertaining, informative, fun, skilfully filmed, artfully edited and most of all, have given the rest of us the chance to see and vicariously experience a place many of us would hope to go to one day, if we haven't yet managed.... Norway was about top of my list before, unfortunately for my savings account you have done nothing to change that. Must try harder 😉 and yes I know that's ambiguous 😂. Ride safe and glad you've since changed steed to hopefully something kinder to your tail end (much as I would love a CB1000R, the looks, the sound, the machined engine covers etc etc...)

The CB was a beautiful machine, but it nearly broke me on this trip!! The KTM was an utter joy on its first trip, hopefully the Aprilia will be even better!!

Fantastic series Andy great that you can do these trips with someone you care about. My last two bike tours have been with my 86 year old Dad on his Burgman 400 and me on the GS great memories. Norway next?? that would be a special trip.. thanks again for the great content 👍

Sadly you’re not wrong!! This series ended up with over 8 TB of footage! Though to be honest, it’s not the volume that shows things, sadly it’s the day job that robs me of the time to edit! I’m streamlining, so hopefully things will get quicker, but it might take a little while to notice!

What an epic road trip! thanks Andy for all the effort it must take to film and edit these videos, I know I couldn't do it! We've just booked the ferries for our Northern Spain/Pyrenees tour next year. I love riding and especially exploring and touring but there is nothing like a long trip away on 2 wheels!

Pretty much. No pulling the wool over your eyes though! The one at the end of this vid just crosses the River Elbe. His ultimate ferry went from Rotterdam to Harwich.

Cheers Neil! Initially we were a little disappointed that we had no time to get up to the top. But having seen that there’s so much more to Norway than the headliners we’ve all heard about, that lack of time was more of a blessing than a curse!
Great series Andy, and I always enjoy seeing your trips with Ian. Saw in a comment that one op became a few, but as you say I hope he's through and moving beyond before too long. I hope he's enjoying the Kawi too, being a somewhat rushed purchase as it was. It would be interesting to get a sit-down vid with him on a later trip or meetup to get his thoughts on it, and how it compares to the last couple, what with the big tourers not being a segment that you've often covered.

ANDY ! Your videos used to be more energetic. You used to have much worse bike and video equipment, but spirit was like more excited. Get rest rethink all that journeys and get new kick to the channel. This video was kind of tired and not excited. All respect to Your work but...
I’ll let you into a secret. At the end of this trip i WAS tired and unexcited! That last little disaster day, followed by the long motorway day and all in a bike bike not really suited to that kind of trip really took it out of me! Trust me, energy levels are back up in the next one…
