Jackson & April have gone through so much from the beginning where they worked together and Mercy West to joining Seattle Grace. They both lost close friends; Reed & Charles. During her wedding with Matthew, Jackson confessed his love for April and she decided to choose Jackson. They get married. She gets pregnant, but their first child Samuel does not make it to term. April joined the army with Hunt because she needed space. Jackson wanted a divorce because he needed space. Ended up being divorced and during that time she found out that she was pregnant. Jackson found out later but then both agreed to stay together for their daughter. She is better with Jackson because they both are familiar with each other. If it was Matthew that she chose, I dont think there would be much story to tell. Im glad they went with Jackson.
