Trucker Josh is an Owner Operator running a 2008 Kenworth W900L out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It's got a Cummins ISX Engine. He is in regional open deck division and covers the area of about a 1000 mile+ radius of Winnipeg in both Canada and the USA.

I am so happy that you and your wife are having a child! I’m 53 and been married for 30 years. I’ve been trucking since I was 18 years old and have two beautiful daughters ages 16 and 20. Sometimes the world seems to be a mess but it’s not. The world you experience is the world you create. Being a father is the best thing I’ve ever done. When good responsible people have children it makes the world that much better. Just wait until you get to hold your child for the first time and look into the eyes it is a feeling so beautiful it can not be described with words. So happy for you and your wife!

Another great day of trucking with TJV. That cold front is sitting right over us in Wisconsin right now. Frostbite advisories out all over the place. That's an issue with several Samsung phones I've owned. Super annoying. Wireless charging is the only work around I've found

The weather I drove in today was horriawful (horrible and awful) 😂. The joys of being a taxi driver currently to pay for my AZ testing. Only a couple near death moments or at least near accidents. I hate Ontario for using salt on the roads makes everything a damn mess. Sloppy roads plus ABS is not fun

I m retired from 35 years hiway trucking of all kinds and everywhere in Canada coast to coast ! based in around Montreal and 10 years based in Edmonton, AB. but been most of my time in Ontario ! all over doing different hauling with different trucks ! lol one job i had was delivering MAXX baths and showers in all Home depots ! and a few Rona stores ! that was only 1 year out of 35 ! you can sub too if you feel like it ! got a few videos myself !lol ! over..n ..out.....🤠

LoL long Lac is a mess ! well was a mess if they didn t improved the parking place there you wake up surrounded by trucks ! lol ! So that new truck Stop ? is it the one southbound before you hit the southbound scale ? i haven t been trucking since 2018 ! they got blue Beacons in the States too ! so is it a Canadian or American outfit ? i know they re all over Canada but i don t remember seeing those out West ! I was trucking from Edmonton for 10 years and don t recall seeing any ! and i was always washing everywhere ! in Edmonton we had a nice wahbay right at the terminal ! hauling alot of reefers it was great to have !😎
That flying J in london had an older lady working there around Christmas time...she was wearing sleigh bells and had a whole costume on.. I had a good laugh with her. They are nice at that one.. I've been there a bunch, I live in Kitchener.

Whenever you mention Ontario, immediately makes me think of the opening line of Helpless by Neil Young. Once went to Montreal, as a Brit, refused to speak English with me, fortunately I could speak a little French, but was 25 c with snow on the ground, weird! Good as always, be safe

Put the phone in a bag of rice. It really works to dry out electronics. I dropped my phone to the bottom of a lake while fishing. I dove in, pulled it out and put into a ziplock bag full of rice. It took about 2 1/2 days in the rice to completely dry out, but the phone works perfectly. It sounds like you probably have a lot less moisture in it then I did, so it should only take a few hours to dry it out.

I need a fast forward button on the dash of my truck as well..... where did you find yours? Sure makes the miles go by faster.
Josh when your phone wouldn't charge, it was probably the charging cable. I have never had any luck for long charging with a cable in the horizontal position. It seems like the vibration and gravity pull on the cable sideways and wears the cable end out. For that reason I would change your new phone holder, charger, to the vertical position so the cable end doesn't wear out too fast. By doing so I've increased the life of my cables to almost a year now. Safe travels my friend.

I've went through two of those chargers. They both broke within a few weeks but to be fair I drive tanker in the oil field and I am off rd a lot so they got bounced around and didn't make it. Plus they are kind of expensive. Great video!!!
Regarding the phone check the port for pocket lint and other crap. If there is stuff in it use something like a wooden toothpick to clean out the crap. That way you wont short any of the pins in the connector.
Samsung phones will also do that if there is dirt/debris in the charge port i usually just take like a paper clip or little peace of plastic and clean it out

Josh I have a Samsung phone also and this happened to me as well! I had to go to a Samsung store and they opened it up and cleaned it. They said its usually dust so maybe try to head into a Samsung store near you and have them take a look at it

I stop at that London flying j a lot. They have great Samosas at the counter it’s about the only thing I buy from truck stop food places. I mostly take my own food in the road
Josh do you keep the real miles you run from pick up to drop off ? Trucking companies are famous for paying you computer miles which are not close to actual miles. Way back when I was a broker I found they were ripping me for about 1600 a month which was almost an entire truck payment
I'm not paid by the mile.
Joshy the rules of the road are as follows if Diesel was on board then ALL must yield to the Lord Weasel but since he is at home and not there then you must yield to everyone. Hey it is give and take what do you want? OBA YO for sure!!!
