ok I don't even really know what this is
and how the hell it happened to be 5 mins long
but it was something I started to work on
to simply show all the things he's been through.
as ian said; elena might be damon's last hope for any kind of happiness;
"If it doesn't happen for damon with elena -- I think it's going to be a slow roast, but I would imagine if that doesn't work out, he'd probably just take his ring off. I don't think it would be worth it anymore."
as soon as elena makes up her little mind, to finally realise and see him for what he really is, to finally see that he is the one that is always there, that always saves her, and the one person who will love her unconditionally, he will feel loved.
that's the least he deserves, in my opinion.
i hope you can enjoy the video at least a little

Damon is a beautifully tragic character. People just seem to hate on him instead of reading between the lines. I guess that's their tragedy.

God... chills up and down my spine. I was literally in tears by the time this ended. You showed how every person in Damon's life affected him, and because it was almost negative, we can this vulnerable, tragic character for what he really is: not a cool and collected facade, but rather a broken person who cannot find himself.
Thank you for making this video. It is a masterpiece.

he truly is the most suffering character of them all and th fact he tries to redeem himself through elena only proves what a strong person he is. i am amazed at your excellence and masterful editing. i am feeling so many emotions because of this. i am simply astounded!

First of all, I totally agree with all you said about Damon in the description. He suffered so much in all his life and despite all of this hurt, he still try to be the better man. He's not perfect, we all know it, but he's trying so hard to do things rught and no ones says thank you or "wow, you're better than before". And this is so sad :( Anyway, your video is EPIC. Seriously. A really powerful portrait of all Damon is. Thank you for doing this.
TEARS ;____; i'm soooooo happy you said that in your description. I really hope Elena finally makes up her mind and picks Damon. Stefan will bounce back after a broken heart. Damon will not. Oh my GOD Aleks. Seriously?! This is beyond epic. this is AMAZING. I can't even explain it...you left me speechless. this is the BEST Damon video EVER. It is so emotional and beautiful.
Two things iv to say about this video
1) Ian is an amazing actor and should be given alot more credit for it,
2) This video was so unbelievable,.. im blown away by your talent its a piece of art, you really get the other side of damon and make us understand him so easily.. well done with the video cant wait to see what you do next..

gosh i felt like watching a movie about Damon, i mean your video told his story. it's just really incredible. there are so many emotions... i actually cant describe how i feel right now. just you should know that this is the most amazing thing that i've ever seen here and it left me speechless, its like i can feel all the pain.

OMG thank you thank YOU for this vid! it's increbible, it's a PURE perfection, you told his story with so much sympathy. it was so touching. love vids like this. they make you think, not just a set of scenes. and true he soo deserves happiness and some day he will get it with Elena otherwise there was no point in showing him suffering that much!

Despite I don't like Damon's decisions sometimes and lately his love for Elena is changing him in a way I don't know if I like at all I really love his character. And the video shows him in all different ways, the pain, the love, the damaged... so all I have to say is wow
I usually say things like "This is so beautiful" or "I'm speechless" but it really is more than that. Now I'm not sure what's more than speechless (:P) but.. breath taken and not being able to put words together because of the effort that was put into this video is something like it. I can't agree with you more on the way people treat Damon. He's either selfish or too much. But I feel he's been put through so much that he needs to believe in something (Elena) to help him see the light.

your video is just perfect ; it touched my soul, for real. i do believe damon has something good down deep inside, but he doesn't want to feel because when feel you can get hurt.. & it happens alot with him.
& the best way to not have a broken heart is to pretend you don't have one... but i do believe he has a heart ; a broken and shattered heart..

I loved this, so much. And I read your entire rant (it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who rants in the description boxes, haha), and I COMPLETELY AGREE. I HATE all the negativity surrounding Damon. He has been through so much shit in the last 145 years, OF COURSE he's going to be a little pissed off. You can't take everything he does at face value, you have to look at the reasons for it. His world fell apart, and he reacted like a vampire would. I hate when people refuse to see that.

I cry every time I see the pain Damon is in when he has to kill Rose and last night I when he went after Andi I was screaming at the TV, DON'T KILL HER. Good thing I live in the country. This is an awesome video that was added to my favorites, really does show what Damon has had to go thru. And I will always pick his plans, what the heck is wrong with Elena putting her trust in Elijah.
