Yeah, it uses cavitation. I'm not sure if it is vibrating quick enough (could be). But cavitation is a very legitimate way to clean things. It's actually very good. Literally pulls it off with negative pressure wave, then positive. It cleans places that you can't reach or is very fragile. It's super interesting, read about it.
You reminded me of that yellow fish from Finding Nemo when you got excited about the bubbles 🤣

Yes, that device is very dangerous...it is not grounded at all and can easily kill someone.
It is scary, but it depends on the design since there are a number of pumps for ponds, fish tanks, and indoor waterfall type things that kind of do similar functions without electrocuting their owners/operators or the fish. Definitely read instructions and make sure you are using products as they are designed when it comes to electricity and water!

No joking, my fish tank caught on fire from the pump. Huge tank, sparks and fire shooting out the back. Luckily we were up early for some unknown reason and heard it sparking and were able to unplug it before the whole house went up in flames. My wall was destroyed, but my fish were fine, thankfully.
I have a confession for you Vivian, I have just shared you with a couple of nurses here in the UK. I now keep hearing giggles and "noooo you need to watch later, she's frigging mental and HILARIOUS!"
the downside of this is that I'm currently in hospital. I was rushed in apparently a little over a week ago, I only found out 2 days ago when they woke me in HDU
The same concept is used in cleaning surgical instruments on a bigger scale. A metal tub would produce more vibrations to break down the debris. Great video! Love ya! MFP!!❤💪

*I love that you keep reviewing products like this! I only have 4 machines for the whole apartment building at over $5 a load! I try to wash in the sink but I live with chronic pain so it's really hard. Products like these can be very helpful! Vivian,Vivian,Vivian... pull the plug not the cord!!! that habit cost us our house to fire from the toaster.over time of it getting pulled by cord it caught fire inside the plug & ,went in the outlet,up the wall to the attic&poof-house gone! 1 of top causes of house fires-corded appliances being pulled by cord to unplug & not plug! Be safe!!
P.S I know it's not a major plug, but it will at least save your USB cord♡

I hate washing silverware and my husband uses like 10 spoons a day eating yogurt or fruit or cereal. So I think if he just dropped all the silverware in and I started it at night it should be great!!

That's exactly what I was thinking about when I saw how small the device was. I would definitely use the vibrator mouse for makeup brushes.

I agree. I think soaking will give you the same results.
Also try with a white shirt with a different stain. I feel when the black shirt is wet it won't show the deodorant stain.
Somehow it occurs to me they created it for something else and the dishwashing was serendipity

First things first, that top you are wearing is absolutely adorable!!
Now on to business; I can see using it for your dishes if you have an injured hand or arm. You can set it up and walk away. Or if you are a busy mom with your hands full of kids.
As far as washing your clothes; I can see using it for your delicate items. Great review Vivian!!

I think it would work well for gently washing crocheted or knitted items that you can't machine wash.

Vivian you always keep me laughing, but I can see this working for Knitters who want to felt/fulling pure wool hats and such in hot water 😉 This can also be used to wash apples, pears, grapes and such with a bit of baking soda to help get the insect sprays off don't you think?!

I just luv you to pieces. You crack me up. However, in this particular video, you missed one very important part of the instructions. It said to soak the dishes BEFORE using the "dishwasher". I think if those dishes had even been rinsed after being used, they would have come out perfectly clean. You may, someday, want to revise this video, because for someone like me that mouse thingy would be absolutely perfect. I am disabled and it is very hard for me to stand at the sink and do dishes. Also, I only cook for one, when I'm able to cook, so there isn't a whole lot if clean up involved. If all I had to do was rinse my dishes, put them in a sink of hot, soapy water and turn my mouse thingy on....heck!! Happy days are here again!! Lastly, you said it should only cost about $10, but I didn't catch how much it actually costs. I'm gonna head on over to Wish, but PLEASE keep those videos comin, cuz I've bought many a thing based on your demos. And my favorite thing is still....1,2,3 GO!! Thank you!!💞

You could try getting a bar stool with a back. I picked up one awhile back & it really helps to be able to sit down if I'm slicing stuff up. Or working on something.

Binging on Vivian - great therapy for a rough week.
I brought something similar at WALMART and it has 4 settings and two is spin opposite ways along with two more options. It works works pretty good on stain, underwaer & delicate clothing. I never tried it with dish. Now I plan too. I paid $20 plus dollars. I really feel it was worth it. I'm just saying.
I would never buy anything from wish, place one end in a tub of water, plug in the other end and then put my hands in the water. You are brave af.

Over 20 yrs I remember seeing a show that features a clothing washer (from Japan or China) that cleaned clothes using just water & sonic vibrations. It didn't even require soap at all, because the sonic device breaks up the dirt. I'd be interested in seeing how well it works without adding soap.

its basically doing the same thing as the jewelry ultrasonic cleaners the jewelry stores use, high vibration of the water to "scrub" , so, yes.. it is "cleaning" the dishes along with the soap and soaking for 30 mins.

I usevavdishpan to soak before I wash and it only softens the food. I would say the device works
I agree with you. Soaking makes it easier to wipe food off but this thing removed most of the food. Thinking it might be good to throw in the dish pan to shake the particles off.

looks perfect for someone with very limited hand movement to clean most of the dishes and then a quick rinse with a light wipe will make dishes easier

I think she would have gotten a better clean using dishwasher detergent instead of liquid that you pour in a sink full of water. Detergent is for dishwashers and that's what she's using a dishwasher
I was thinking that it would be good for if a person is living in a trailer or a really small apartment with no dishwasher, maybe a hotel room for when you spill something on that nice shirt. For just 1 or 2 people using it basically. You can just leave it for 30 minutes and do whatever you need to while it cleans.
It won't take the place of a dull dishwasher but as you say as a "holiday/vacation" washer thst doesn't take up any space it would be ideal.
It would be great for washing underwear on holiday or swimwear but nothing too heavily soiled.

Maybe if you have some sickies in the house and you want to drop that in with some strong soap and let it do it's thing and then wash them again. Or even better when you want to clean hair brushes and combs maybe.

You should have tried using this and next to it the same but without the "dishwasher" in it. To see if there was a difference between the dishes sitting in warm water for 30 minutes or the 30 minutes in the dishwasher.
