Not long at all, about 1 hour in a very relaxed manner. I think best tip is to not touch model or decals with a bare hands, better to use latex gloves or latex finger tips. Cause oily residues we leave with our bare hands greatly decrease chance of decals sticking properly:)

Agree, simple way to make it more detailed. But oil based washes can damage stickers if applied rapidly:)

what is the white tip on the wooden stick? seems to protect damage to the decal/parts.

Can this snapkit get compound polish for extra shining?
I doubt it will get more shiny. Keep in mind you will be polishing plastic, and not a paint or a clear coat.

@@debioparartawiguna4090 tamiyas 3 part system works well, Tamiya also have special warnish to rub in as a final step.

all of the stickers seem like more work then painting
Decals are definitely a tedious task, but knowing this is a beginner model, it teaches you to be patient - really necessary at modelling.
