Another great build. I believe your paint job is even better then on the real car.
I just started Tamiya's 1955 Mercedes 300SL kit. I am going to use the same silver that you used. It appears to better looking then the Zero Paints Mercedes silver. It won't be authentic but it will look sharp just the same.
these ZP are similar to real car paints, that is why it looks authentic. Don t forget to lay paint in thin layers 👌

Hello great to see how you make this model. Thanks for the video. Please one question which is, I think, also interessting for all folks who are looking: Which spray size do you use? 0.2, 0.3 or other size? Which pressure are you using? When you use the zero paint filler did you use a thinner or did you use it like it is delievered? Thank you for this information.
Hello mr. Riess, thanks! Nozzle size in my airbrush is 0,2 and 0,4mm. The last one i use for large surfaces and primer. Pressure is variable and varies between 1-1,5 Bar, it depends of diluted color. Zero Paint primers usually dont need any thinner, but if the bottle is old, than may be you need to thin it a little.

Looks amazing! Can you share the difference it makes using primer on the parts? Any reason you used two shades of primer on the body?
first primer is a primer as is, it has also a microfiller effect for scratches etc. Second layer more as white base for the base coat.
no need to use 2 primer, just skip to white and the storm grey, just dont go the same color like white primer and white base coat

(сам набор, клиры для оптики, клей покупал в городе "revell"), но после просмотра твоего видоса четко решил, что я должен накопить денег и сделать все по уму) надеюсь, когда-нибудь у меня получится сделать такую же супру👍 А тебе успехов в развитии канала, и поменьше следов от пресс-форм)
да правильно делаешь, конечно надо улучшаться от модели к модели. Но не надо сразу из броду в воду ) Про следы толкателей дважды актуально) т.к. я их сам иногда конструирую 🛠🔨
Кстати эта супра очень грамотно сконструирована, так что там сложно накосячить даже если это первая модель.

Danke! Alles passt zusammen perfekt👍 Keine Nachbearbeitungen usw. Sei vorsichtig bei Toyota Logo Decal (vorne und hinten), es ist dünn und kann sehr schnell zerreißen
To smooth out scratches and other engravings that happen when using a scalpel, is it best to use a smooth sand paper? Also, would be nice if you included the materials/equipment you used in the description, nice work
if the scratch from the engraver remains on the front surface, then most likely you will have to putty, sandpaper will not help unfortunately.
A good idea with materials description. This question comes often.

This and 2020 mx5roadster tamiya kit is another couple kits ive kept up until im bit better at painting so i do them right

@@Scaleautoshop good idea that actually i seen people do it but never taut doing it myself but yeah ill pic up a pack make sure ive the right consitincy in mix with the tinner b4 i spray thats why ive only used my cheep 50euro airbrush and compressor few times but i will get a good one in near future but 9 times out 10 i use tamiya cans or rustolium but wat ever works i suppose buddy ill pick up couple party packs spoons to get it right on day when i do build it 👍👍👍

Great job. What did you use to clear the body after using the panel line
i used here white spirit based thinner. it doesnt affect the base coat.

hi! i think the first pass was 0,5mm and second 1,2mm
You drew a black line along the side (shoulder) of the body and then sanded it off. Can you tell me more about that? Thank you.
It is hard to see on bare plastic all imperfections. therefore i mark molding line and then sand that black color till it dissapears. That means for me that molding line is sanded.

はい、塗料は自動車用塗料と組成が似ていますが、より細かい顔料を含んでいます。
Do you clear coat the body? If so, do you clear before or after panel lining?
i didn't clearcoat the body here. Anyway the panel lining is better after clearcoat as it will be easier to wipe off the residues.

i use thinner for enamel/oil paints

@@Scaleautoshop when i see models in the store they're rated by level so example level 1 is painted and you just snap or screw together and level 10 is 1000 pieces and you've gotta put 10 pieces together that make up 1 part paint glue sticker ect.

Buying this Supra is about as close as I will actually ever be to wanting a 2020 Supra. The actual car was an extreme letdown for me when I drove it.
