This pick up was a lot of mattresses and couches and they looked well used but the furniture should have been given to someone who needed it or a thrift store good job guys 👏
Here in sweden we have to take all thoose big items to a recycling facility the garbage trucks here only take house garbage,glas,foodwate,cartoons(wellpapp),or papper like newspapper the trucks here that take big items like that are hooktrucks or liftdumpers

Yea, i gotta move later and some stuff got left outside and weathered but was not able to save or give away as much but was able to salvage or reuse some stuff while rest is by chance tossed later or give way if it wanted any.

I’m the guy in orange and lol this was shit pure shit. It’s was like 45 degrees Celsius out had sweats and rain boots on cause it was supposed to rain but never did and just got hot and muggy. The fucking crap we picked up smelled like cat piss, they were infested with roaches bedbugs rat shit, you name it needles. We went to the grimiest of grime in this city to pick this shit up. This was like our third load of the day and we didn’t want to be out anymore so we goof around to make light of it. We also dealt with so much political crap it’s was draining. ON TOP of all this we would spend and least an hour -2hours here every other Tuesday we got sick of it

I relize its a city contract but that is a special service and they must charge the home owner on there taxes or something
the trucks here in winnipeg you won't see a service like that

I think the reason is because doors are considered renovation work while the rest of the items are furniture. Tenant versus landlord items

But we weren’t allowed to take Reno material because most of it is from contractors that work on buildings being told by the landlords they can dump it on the curb but in actuality it fall on the landlords. However ottawa is a crazy political city and some times we would be told to take Reno material if the inspector had side deals etc. it became super stupid and was dumb cause there was no real basis of any rules on what we could and couldn’t take
