Are you really comparing Maya and Asa? Asa is just an idol rapper. She's a fast reader and knows how to mimic. Maya is a completely different level. Don't you see the techniques and bars she uses? Real bars. Neither XG is a kpop group nor Maya is a kpop idol. They are not in the same game. Maya has real rap/hip-hop culture. (no hate to Asa i know she is talented)
Asa has great potential but I don't have much hope when it comes to YG. Look at Jennie from BP, the way she hasn't rapped ONCE ever since she got freed from YG dungeon. This meaning Asa's got a long 6 years to go before we can actually witness her real talent. YG won't let her write her own bars or even make a mixtape on someone else's beat at all. All of that won't help establish Asa as an actual rapper.
Excuse me don't disrespect Maya by comparing her to a still mediocre rapper I know Asa has the potential but Maya is far away better lol.
