If Residet Evil 0 is getting a remake let's hope they add co-op.For Resident Evil Code: Veronica it would be great if they let you pick between claire and chris from the start with less of a emphasis on backtracking.
Co-op nonsense is a big cause of the decline in quality, keep that crap out of these single player games. Studios even admit that you sacrifice polish and quality content because you divide resources. You want co-op then you have thousands of options that are available, stop requesting it on every freaking thing that comes out. The problem is most gamers have the attention span of a fly so they always need to interact with someone else.

I feel like the next set of remakes is establishing building blocks for an re5 remake. Plus streamline continuity a bit to emphasize wesker. Think about it; newer fans don’t know him much, and to be fair across all games he has minimal screen time. So this is perfect.

I will stand by RE0 and RE1 not needing remakes. they already have amazing games both of which are available on steam. people need to get over their discomfort with tank controls. they are easy to use. and the experiences are incredible. i do support a code veronica remake however. that is legitimately outdated and worth updating. also Never let Capcom Forget their outbreak games exist, they are masterpieces. and we want more!
In theory…let’s say Remakes for Zero is confirmed, it would make sense because Capcom would set the “tone” for gameplay/lore in RE0, paving the way for RE1. Think of RE0 as the sandbox for RE1 later on.

By the way, the very reason Claire is in Raccoon City, is because she’s looking for Chris, so Capcom has not concluded her story arc. Also, if i’m not wrong, i remember to have read a note at the Stars office, in RE2 remake or RE3 remake mentioning Chris went to Europe.

This might not be a popular take but I think they have a prime opportunity to entirely reimagine re0 and have it take place playing as Bravo team leading to the events up to Alpha teams arrival and they could make the prime setting in the forest.

Taking the “leaks” seriously for a moment - Zero and CV make little to no sense as a combo of games to work on. There’s next to nothing asset wise you could really share there compared to say…RE1R and RE0. RE0 releasing by itself also doesn’t feel right - it’s got a good story but it fits better as a companion piece to RE1R; acting as sort of the “next year title” like RE3 did for RE2. It has to capitalize on another game’s success not its own. CV, unfortunately, may be in a similar boat due to its own popularity and sales not really being up there next to other games. However CV as a companion to 5 or 1 works out nicely (while you can’t share assets much between CV and 5 it can capitalize on RE5 which WILL be a blockbuster). Here’s what I think Gollum is doing - fed up with people coming out with leaks he had nothing to do with he wants to disparage them; claim they’re BS in such harsh words (seriously what an egotistical prick). To counteract it he’s claiming an unlikely game like 0 is in development alongside CV (which the community has desired anyways for so long and knows will get people talking). Honestly I don't care what game they release on resident evil. I would be happy with umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles remakes for flatscreen and vr. The point is we should appreciate that resident evil games are still being made. Support silent hill 2 so we can see more from that franchise. If you miss old school resident evil go play Crow Country. It's great indie game that needs you support. As gamers if we vote with our wallets will get more of it. During a time when almost all gaming companies are suffering. They need our support. Enjoy gaming and I hope you have fun. Because at the end of the day we still have the old titles. Emulate them, but we got them. Remakes are meant to change it up and not replace the original. I can't wait to see what capcom vision is in the future.

As far as a remake of 1, I'll take it as well if it comes, but in the meantime I have a quality remake in the 2002 HD version AND in steam forged games wonderful Board Game based on the the RE1 remake classic. I would say it needs to be 0 and CVX. Especially to tie in Wesker, he has major roles in both. Even though RE1R would be important for Wesker too, but we already have a remake of it. Should be the last remake of the series. Can’t just make RE5R and kill off Albert so quick. Either way I’m down for anything RE.
I'm thinking they want to have 0 first before 1 to flesh out Wesker a little bit. Since RE4 remake already spoiled that he's a bad guy, there's no need to have 1 released before 0 since the Wesker twist in 1 won't work anymore. Aside from Resident Evil 1 Remake Remake, I'm probably most excited for Resident Evil Code Veronica. I've never played Resident Evil 0, myself. It looks like a nice game, but I wasn't into the duo setup and lack of item boxes. It seemed too frustrating, so I never got into it. I hope those things change in its remake, because if they do, I can see myself getting into that. One thing I have to add, though, is that I've never heard of a leak that was true that mentioned TWO games in a series being in the works at once. (I know RE2 and 3 remakes had overlap, and 3 with 4 a well, but the rumors all came quite far apart, like a year apart, even if there was some work on them at the same time.) This "leak" with two games at the same time really makes me distrust it. At any rate, no matter what happens, I hope they take their time and make every game the best it can be instead of rushing. (I wish we could get a "RE3 REmake: Extended" as well, but that's dreaming, I guess.)

No its not perfect, it def needs a remake. Fixed camera angels, tank controls, too many loading screens, inventory pop up, and voice acting along with no cannon ending, despite having 14 endings, needs to be fixed and changed. Re1 remake is great, but its not perfect. People said these same exact things about 2, 3, and 4. Yet they remade them, and they are unequivocally better than their predecessors. These games are better off being remade for modern controls and modern play. Ive MENT SOOO MANY PEOPLE who wont play re1 remake cause of tank controls, and honestly i cant blame them. An RE1 remake in the format of re2 remake would be a WAYYYYY better game, and id be willing to bet were either getting re1 next or re5.
Out of all the games... Zero and code veronica need the biggest overhaul when it comes to the story. ZERO is a mess story wise and feels the most inconsistent. Making little to no sense when you play it in tandem with the original. It has nothing to do with the Bravo team, or how the die. I could go on and on. Code veronica also needs major story changes, Steve's character had the potential to be one of the most tragic RE characters... but they dropped the ball hard. The physiological trauma of being a prisoner should have made him a hard, untrusting young man. Instead, he felt like a bad cartoon. Now, the story of Alfred and Alexia, that can be something truly dark and disturbing if done right. I feel like Capcom should go full Lanister with these two. Code veronica, I feel, can be the one resident evil that can really dip its toes into the physiological aspect of horror..

They didn’t even put Sheva in RE:Verse FFS, the most fan service-y thing I’ve ever seen apart from every FF game ever. He also recently said he’s going back into hiding again (more or less) now that the critics have it out for him. Fat Gollum might be an appropriate nickname after all - him and his obsession over his precious clout to rule over all the leaks. Now hiding away in the shadows until he’s ready to strike again.
Taking the “leaks” seriously for a moment - Zero and CV make little to no sense as a combo of games to work on. There’s next to nothing asset wise you could really share there compared to say…RE1R and RE0. RE0 releasing by itself also doesn’t feel right - it’s got a good story but it fits better as a companion piece to RE1R; acting as sort of the “next year title” like RE3 did for RE2. It has to capitalize on another game’s success not its own. CV, unfortunately, may be in a similar boat due to its own popularity and sales not really being up there next to other games. However CV as a companion to 5 or 1 works out nicely (while you can’t share assets much between CV and 5 it can capitalize on RE5 which WILL be a blockbuster).
Here’s what I think Gollum is doing - fed up with people coming out with leaks he had nothing to do with he wants to disparage them; claim they’re BS in such harsh words (seriously what an egotistical prick). To counteract it he’s claiming an unlikely game like 0 is in development alongside CV (which the community has desired anyways for so long and knows will get people talking). He also shoots down RE5R development (which seems like the next logical step down the road albeit not immediately) and also says there won’t be an announcement this summer? RE9 has been pushed back? Heh…
I fully expect for him to be wrong. I also hope that the RE1R rumors are true because he needs to be put in his place - he does not have to be the approver of all leaks.

I think it's false. I think they're working on remake 5 and RE 9. But if they are working on zero and code Veronica. I'll be happy about that as well.
Honestly I don't care what game they release on resident evil. I would be happy with umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles remakes for flatscreen and vr. The point is we should appreciate that resident evil games are still being made. Support silent hill 2 so we can see more from that franchise. If you miss old school resident evil go play Crow Country. It's great indie game that needs you support. As gamers if we vote with our wallets will get more of it. During a time when almost all gaming companies are suffering. They need our support. Enjoy gaming and I hope you have fun. Because at the end of the day we still have the old titles. Emulate them, but we got them. Remakes are meant to change it up and not replace the original. I can't wait to see what capcom vision is in the future.
Remaking 0 without 1 is stupid because the original 0 matches RE1 remake’s art style to where they might as well be the same game. Just remake Code Veronica and move on
I'm very much convinced RECVRe is the next shoe to drop , for the Poll win alone if not a part of the reason. As far as a remake of 1, I'll take it as well if it comes, but in the meantime I have a quality remake in the 2002 HD version AND in steam forged games wonderful Board Game based on the the RE1 remake classic. If any of you in this community, or you Anthony haven't played it yet give it a go! You'll love it. I would say it needs to be 0 and CVX. Especially to tie in Wesker, he has major roles in both. Even though RE1R would be important for Wesker too, but we already have a remake of it. Should be the last remake of the series. Can’t just make RE5R and kill off Albert so quick. Either way I’m down for anything RE.
Hopefully it will be as difficult as the original for cv.
I'm thinking they want to have 0 first before 1 to flesh out Wesker a little bit. Since RE4 remake already spoiled that he's a bad guy, there's no need to have 1 released before 0 since the Wesker twist in 1 won't work anymore. I'm guessing that they're developing CV at the same time right now cause CV is a pretty long game especially compare to 0 & 1. They may released 0 & 1 remakes before they finished CV remake. RE5 remake is definitely coming since they teased it so much in RE4R but not right now. I'm glad they're taking their time tho. Aside from Resident Evil 1 Remake Remake, I'm probably most excited for Resident Evil Code Veronica. I've never played Resident Evil 0, myself. It looks like a nice game, but I wasn't into the duo setup and lack of item boxes. It seemed too frustrating, so I never got into it. I hope those things change in its remake, because if they do, I can see myself getting into that. One thing I have to add, though, is that I've never heard of a leak that was true that mentioned TWO games in a series being in the works at once. (I know RE2 and 3 remakes had overlap, and 3 with 4 a well, but the rumors all came quite far apart, like a year apart, even if there was some work on them at the same time.) This "leak" with two games at the same time really makes me distrust it. At any rate, no matter what happens, I hope they take their time and make every game the best it can be instead of rushing. (I wish we could get a "RE3 REmake: Extended" as well, but that's dreaming, I guess.)

People that want an RE:5 remake are delulu+ it’s definitely not coming, Capcom is a Japanese Company, they do not like Africa Or Sheva all that much to give you a brand new 250,000,000$ remake with all new scanned in assets for RE engine from Africa AND the SAME controls 🤦🏻♂️. 4 remake only came out because it was the most popular of all time and they got tired of porting it every new generation, plus they were creating assets for 4 Remake since before RE Village, which is why Village “reminded” a lot of people of RE4.

No its not perfect, it def needs a remake. Fixed camera angels, tank controls, too many loading screens, inventory pop up, and voice acting along with no cannon ending, despite having 14 endings, needs to be fixed and changed. Re1 remake is great, but its not perfect. People said these same exact things about 2, 3, and 4. Yet they remade them, and they are unequivocally better than their predecessors. These games are better off being remade for modern controls and modern play. Ive MENT SOOO MANY PEOPLE who wont play re1 remake cause of tank controls, and honestly i cant blame them. An RE1 remake in the format of re2 remake would be a WAYYYYY better game, and id be willing to bet were either getting re1 next or re5.

Out of all the games... Zero and code veronica need the biggest overhaul when it comes to the story. ZERO is a mess story wise and feels the most inconsistent. Making little to no sense when you play it in tandem with the original. It has nothing to do with the Bravo team, or how the die. I could go on and on.
Code veronica also needs major story changes, Steve's character had the potential to be one of the most tragic RE characters... but they dropped the ball hard. The physiological trauma of being a prisoner should have made him a hard, untrusting young man. Instead, he felt like a bad cartoon. Now, the story of Alfred and Alexia, that can be something truly dark and disturbing if done right. I feel like Capcom should go full Lanister with these two. Code veronica, I feel, can be the one resident evil that can really dip its toes into the physiological aspect of horror..
