While the 2011 is basically the 1911 but upgraded in almost every way gotta go with 1911. It's such a beautiful classic gun and it just feels amazing to hold and shoot.

They're both good guns in their own perspective , but considering the 2011 was built promoted for competition speed shooters and the 1911 was built for both durability and taking a punishment , I'll go with my .45 1911 Taurus

I was given the opportunity to fire a couple hundred rounds through both of these (1940s Remington and a 2023 Kimber) both are fantastic pistols, but I was absolutely impressed with the Kimber but fell in love with both of them so I purchased a Kimber and am saving for a Remington R1. JustSayn
They are pricy for sure but well worth the money dude! I have to say as far as pistols go they have become my favorites! If you like a commander style I’d definitely check out the P it’s become my favorite pistol!

You won’t regret adding the staccato. My EDC is a staccato C2 and I’ve never been this satisfied and confident about my EDC.

I really like the Bul Armory 2011 and the Dan Wesson DWX BUT those are the only two I really know of. 1911s especially the Dan Wessons are beautiful.
