AXIS Camera Station Pro 6 - Replace camera function

The replace camera function within AXIS Camera Station Pro can be used to replace an old device that has failed or used to upgrade an old camera with a new camera. The replace camera function replaces the camera without the need to configure the majority of settings and preserves your old video recordings.
The name of the new camera will be automatically configured, as well as the recording settings.
If the camera is part of any split views the views will be updated and so will the icons on maps.
Finally the recording from both the old and the new device will be shown on the timeline.
Please note, the configuration of motion detection windows will have to be manually re applied as well as the configuration and installation of any ACAPs. Its best practice to check the settings especially if the camera is used within action rules.
