    First, I'd like to say that I enjoy your videos immensely. They are straightforward and very informative. I'm looking into getting a drone, and the mini 2 seems the logical place to start.
    I thought that the mini batteries were compatible with the mini 2. If this is the case, then why are there different chargers for the mini vs. the mini2 batteries? Is it a matter of battery construction/specification for charging? If there really is a difference, it would be helpful to eliminate the confusion in the pictures on your website store: On the mini 2 page, the charger pictured has mini batteries and the mini controller connected. Also, in your Amazon store, there is no mini 2 charger shown, even though there is a mini 2 charger on Amazon (I followed the link from your earlier yt video to the mini 2 charger, so it's there; that listing has a link to your store, but your store doesn't actually have it listed).

    Thanks for sharing! The MM1 uses QC3.0 which allows for more than the typical 2A5V (10W) and that has also worked really well. QC3.0 car chargers are also available.

    • @Dronevalley
      @Dronevalley  3 года назад

      Brian, I agree and it will quick-charge the cells. The challenge is that most consumers are still using a standard 5V USB charger with the Mini 2 and it's a really slow charge. These multi-chargers help with that and they are like having 4 chargers in one to get you back out and flying. Thanks for the post, RIck

    • @briangray710
      @briangray710 3 года назад

      @@Dronevalley Right on! A standard 5V 2A is painfully slow. The QC is exactly that - quick. Maximum outputs vary (as you know) between 12V 1.5 A / 9V 2A / 5V 3A. Again - great content. Thanks.

    Hi Rick, great channel by the way. Question, I purchased the folding landing legs for my mini2 but the supplied prop protector does not fasten now as it's too short, the landing gear making the mini2 girth that bit wider. Do you make a prop protector that fits with the legs attached, as taking the back legs off after each flight I'm concerned about straining the prop arms.

    do these clip-on chargers that attach directly to the battery work with lipo batteries on mini 2 ?

    • @Dronevalley
      @Dronevalley  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the post but they only work for the Mavic Mini cells because they were designed for Li-Ion. The Mini 2 batteries use Lipo and we don't have a companion charger for that one yet. We do have a 6-in-1 home charger and a 3-in-1 car charger if you can use those. Stay tuned for updates

    Hello, can I use the super charger of my cell phone? It's a 40w charger.
    Would it cause any damage if I use a charger of more than 29w to my batteries? I'm using the DJI 3-battery module.
    cheers and thanks for the video

    • @Dronevalley
      @Dronevalley  2 года назад +1

      No worries with the larger charger. The batteries will only draw as much power as they need to charge and that is controlled by the electronics in the hub. You'll be fine using that charger with the hub. Stay tuned this week as we're releasing a brand new car charger that you can use with the hub to charge them on the go.

    Hi Drone Masters!.
    Can I effectively use the "RTH" on a Mavic Mini-2 using a (WI-FI ONLY) iPad; or I need to buy the (WI-FI + CELLULAR iPad)?

    • @Dronevalley
      @Dronevalley  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the post and the RTH will work just fine with either version of the iPad. The only real benefit you'll get from the cellular version is a more detailed map and more accurate "pilot" position in the app. Go with the Wifi-only version and you can afford a few spare batteries. Be sure to stop back soon! Rick

    This comment is copy and pasted from another review you did of a charger for another DJI battery. I was wondering did you see it and are you going to do a review on the charger for the DJI FPV drone?
    That same company makes a charger for the DJIFPV drone.
    Do you know of it?
    Will you review it?
    Will you be selling it?
    Will it work well with the battery backup that you did the review of earlier?

    • @Dronevalley
      @Dronevalley  3 года назад

      James, even though we use this company for a few of the chargers we carry, we always start fresh with our testing to make sure we pick the best products to recommend. We are currently testing 2 chargers for the DJI FPV drone and 3 chargers for the EVO 2. We haven't settled on a winner yet for either of them but hope to be done with the testing soon so stay tuned to the channel. Any one we pick will work fine with a Portable Power Station like I was using in this clip so no worries there. Rick

      Thanks for the post but we stand behind everything we sell so if you ever have issues with anything you've ordered, send me an email and we'll sort it out for you. The Mini 2 landing gear work well and they do fold up. The challenge is that because the drone is so small you have to be careful not to force the arms back together too quickly and make sure the extensions are fully closed. I'm here if you're really not happy with the gear so be sure to send me a note. Rick@dronevalley.com

    • @dbua1979

      @Xeriox01,
      I've had the same problem with the landing gears. They're a little too big when folded. Arms are not in a 100% position and a little bended in my opinion. The prop guard from Dji doesn't fit anymore and let the gimbal protector pops out. I thing thanks to the landing gears everything is under pressure . Not a good fit.

    • @Dronevalley
      @Dronevalley  3 года назад +1

      @@dbua1979 Thank for the post and all of the landing kits affect the arms in different ways because of the small chassis. The one we're offering is the best of the bunch on the market and the protection it provides for the camera and gimbal is well worth the slightly larger size. The prop stabilizer that comes with the drone is tight initially but over time the band will stretch a little and fit the stabilizers fine. You can speed up this process with a hair dryer on the strap and it can be stretched a little. We really are serious about keeping our customers happy so if you ever receive something from us that you're not happy with, we'll make it right so please contact us. Thanks, Rick

      Thanks Rick,
      I'll try the "hair dryer" option then.
      Landing gears are by the way great and it lifts the drone/gimbal just enough to prevent damage by landing on the ground.
