- A video tutorial on how to change, remove and replace the cabin air filter on a 2019 - 2021 Chevy Blazer. Cabin air filters, also know as AC or A/C air filters should be changed every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year, depending on where you are driving your Chevrolet Blazer. The cabin air filter will be located behind the glovebox.
This video tutorial can be used to help find the location of as well as remove, change or replace the cabin AC air filter on the following Chevrolet Models:
2019 Chevy Chevrolet Blazer

Great vid. I'd add, you don't need the most expensive filter either. The more filtration the less flow. So consider the tradeoff when deciding on a replacement.
Dealer wanted $72 to replace a $15 part...Thx I will be doing myself.
This was so simple and easy and well described thank you!
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
Thank you! 🙏🏼 super Easy.
You're welcome!
Thank you bro this was very helpful
You're Welcome!
Thank you! I just found my grandparents three missing parking tags behind the glove box…I had a little suspicion they weren’t just disappearing!
LOL You're welcome! Glad it helped
Great video man, Simple but very helpful! Can you do some maintenance videos on a 2020 Chevy Colorado ?
Thanks! Yes as soon we get access to one we will
Just changed the air filter but it seems like the dampening arm came loose? It’s wiggling when I tried to put it back in place I can’t seem to figure out how it’s supposed to be put in for it to not come loose
Thank you so much. 👍👍👍👍👍
You're Welcome!
Got my sub
Appreciate You!
Thank you sir
You're Welcome!
What screw did you use to remove that screw?
Thank you boy
You're Welcome!
Amazing they left something easy. I was doubting it after I found what had2B done to replace an Incandescent brake light bulb within the LED light housing. Obviously the "fixture" was designed for non-user serviceability, as it's the same as Traverse. 2.5 hours labor per side & Traverse has 100% LED lights, not combination lights. Chevy screwed Blazer owners Royally on that deal & there was no valid reason to NOT make them full LED!
Any chance on doing a shifter plate removal so those of us that want to wrap it know how to take it of without breaking it ? Cheers and thanks for the instruction vid ! Time for a k&n cabin filter 👍🏼
The next time I get access to one of these I will keep that in mind - Cheers!
Hey man thank you for the tutorial, I am planning to buy a chevy blazer but I have been wondering about the A/C cooling, is it good or enough for hot climate countries? is the ventilated seat helpful? Thank you
They seem to do fine here and I'm located in Arizona. Our summer temperatures regularly get to 110 - 115 degrees Fahrenheit but I can't really say beyond that.
@@PYR-Auto Thank you very much, it’s really helpful. The temperature here in Kuwait reaches 122 F and it’s fair to assume that the AC of the Blazer will be good enough.
Great video, Thanks !!!!!!!!!!! Did you use factory filters or a filter from the auto parts store?
I usually get them from a local auto parts store
I have a 2008 Trailblazer is the process the same for my model year? Thank you in advance.
I'm not sure I've never actually changed one of these on a 2008 trailblazer. It may be a little different to get access to but the cabin filter should be located in relatively the same area - behind the glovebox.
Thank you for the video. Do you actually take that filter out rinse it out or? To clean it
The filter will need to be replaced
How about engine air filter?
We don't have a video on that yet, sorry
How do you remove the air vents
not sure
You the Man!!! Dealer want to charge me $219!!!
Glad it helped!
I was charged $57 today.
Wondering best place to get a filter?
I usually just buy them at my local auto parts store but they can also can be found many places online such as amazon.
@@PYR-Auto great, thank you! Looks easy. And living on gravel can change it more often now.
You're Welcome! Yes - with driving on gravel its a good idea to change it more often
Amazon or Rockauto
Actually the filter cover has to glide over the connectors on the LEFT then snap to the right. Good video otherwise. Saved me $70.
