Lovely man. He worked on a film called without a clue. And the pub I worked at supplied the crew with water. Free of charge so I ended up with a lovely photo signed to me from Sir Michael Caine and lovely dinners from the catering crew every day. Not alot of people know that.
I met Sir Michael in the Tesco car park in Torquay, he was scraping bird dirt of his car windscreen with his debit card, really nice guy, a lot of people don’t know that!
I fell in love with Micheal Caine in Zulu in 68, my son fell in love with him in 95, thats stardom, all his friends impersonating him from the Italian Job generation's later
Great actor, I remember reading somewhere, he was on holiday in Ireland and for no pay he played parts in Two low budget films just to help the up and coming directors out. Could anyone ever see Tom Cruise or Will Smith being so generous with their time!
An amazing performance. A great film. Way better than the swarm, surrender, blame it on rio, beyond the poseidon Adventure and jaws the revenge all put together
I was lucky enough to have met Sir Michael Caine on a personal level and the man is a true legend, I met his mate a fellow Scotsman Sean but Mr Caine was a geniune human being 👍
@@DutchVanHelsing He is a Cockney, You get Cockneys from south london as well, Those bells can heard as far south as 5 miles in any given direction. Michael Caine is a cockney.

He loves what he does. Not many people know (wink wink) he worked for a decade doing small parts for little money before he became a star, aged 31.

@@jennyspence-g3l I think anyone trying to get Tom Cruise to work for free on any film, would surely be a mission impossible. 😀
Don't forget his portrayal of Scrooge on The Muppets Christmas Carol.....

Lol “two of the worst movies, ever made, we made together.” - Sally Fields to Sir Michael Caine
Beyond The Poseidon Adventure but not sure of other one.

I don’t know if Sally Field was in it, but Jaws 4 the revenge ‘this time it’s personal” is supposed to be up there.
Michael Caine is the embodiment of my great grandfather who was 97 (from England) ☹️

Michael Caine is such a gangsta
I'm not at all sure whether castmate IS a word, but I first read the 'M' as an 'R'!
a genius
His best film was Get Carter, hands down
I actually enjoyed the swarm.
So you didn't feel like you were stung by the producers of that film, then?

Tweaking facts for a good story; Swarm was made a decade or so after Gambit. 😅
70s cinema. Memorable and forgettable trash. Disasters about disasters. Irwin Allen and others! Waste.
Best cinema ever made 70s your forgetting Star Wars .. 😊
