Wow...... Magnificent house. I adore art deco. The entry door is just amazing! I would buy it but definitely change the master bedroom. And the view is also fantastic!

Who was the Architect? When was the house built? Original Builder and Original Owner? Does it have a history "event" moment? Who refinished/refurbished? This is an exceptionally well done video tour and the house presents well - the production could be completed in excellence, with the addition of the aforementioned points.
Get ooouuuuttt of my MIND Hidden AZ ! you're obviously incredibly incredible of the Incredibles Inc. Redible family of In Cre Dibble. HAH! Having a bit of fun and probably won't use that word for a year....
This place is a modern day cartoon of REAL art deco. The architect & interior designer went way too obvious and the real thing would've been clearly more understated. But it a fun house, but not authentic or built in the Deco era.
Beautiful house, nice details. Just make sure that you know the difference between art nouveau and art deco, though. Some of the pieces in the house was clearly art nouveau, still loved it though :)
Current era Architects and Designers - just don't seem to fully capture the essence of Art Deco and many confuse Art Nuevo for Art Deco. Art Deco has less detail and "lines" - lines defined by materials and/or elements of the design statements. This home is fine - but an Art Deco home from the 20''s - 30's is Platinum Perfection. Thanks for the share.
Next time let the building do the talking for itself. Too much attention paid to the music, the host, the sepia-toned vignettes. Not enough lingering camera shots of the architectural details. Too bad the interior designer did not see fit to carry the Art Deco theme into the kitchen and bathroom. So much missing detail in this house!
I absolutely adore Art Deco...all of my three bedrooms and part of my living room are all Art Deco... which is just killing me because I'm having to sell it all... which all of it was my grandmother's... so that I can move into one of those tiny houses... I'll be building and having that I'll be art deco... I just adore Art Deco... adore ...adore ..adore it... it is such an underrated stating of style...but then again pops... I only have one bad thing to say about this video...the woman that's wearing that hat with the white outfit...that's a 1940's dress... that is not anything close to being Art Deco and it's also in the wrong period.
I might be selling a few things a small things on eBay or Amazon but the furniture cuz you really can't ship the furniture I don't want it damaged I would just be selling around here San Francisco might be a possibility cuz it's just a couple hours away maybe Reno or Tahoe because they're just a couple hours away but that's about it
Nice building (and views) and some lovely pieces of English and French furniture but some rooms are a bit "messy" and too many reproduction art deco figures...I wouldn't say no though!
Art Deco is okay for observatories, some grand theaters maybe, and maybe some other public buildings, but you wouldn't want to live in it year round. It would get tiresome after the first few months, then it would be boring and too overdone. The view is great except for looking at all of the tacky houses, garbage cans and neighborhood issues like kids and dogs making noises and spoiling all of it constantly. Most of it isn't cool vintage chic, but just outdated, worn out features that need a lot of updating. It's a fixer upper, but the tacky view of the backsides of so many other homes spoils the location and the view. And, THAT folks is why it is up for sale. They obviously need to dump this hideous eyesore, because they can't stand looking at this monstrosity and its ugly view anymore. The place would have to have an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean to be worth anything at all. It's too bad they built it where they did, and too bad they couldn't have toned down the Art Deco theme a bit. Far too overdone, and far too outdated and poorly designed inside and out. Too many red flags.
Today Art Deco is one of the most underrated architectural styles
I love Art Deco style.
+Christophe Choo & the jewelry..plus Tiffany
Very well done, Christophe. Beautiful.

Typical of the 'More Money Than Brains Club'

Art Nouveau predated the Art Deco era 1910-1915 and Art Deco 1925-1930.

Fully agreed, and unless Art Deco sculptures are original they just leave a replica feeling for the entire place.
That would suit me.
It was a very special and unique home and all authentic period art deco furniture.
Fantastic house , what is the price
do the old fashioned people come with it?
Yes. They are indentured slaves from the Czech Republic.
I will built my home in this.style
“‘Emails” lmao
@nipperooney $3,995,000 and we are in escrow.

music is too loud.
Whoever sells this house seems to be in an awful debt :P

The remodels of the kitchen and bathrooms are too contemporary...
A house as popular as that pfft
It's probably haunted
