    I don’t know how you get such a good sound with your pickups so high..
    My PJ Jaguar sounds boomy and muddy as fuck if the splits are less than three nickles from the strings.

      Maybe your wiring allows more signal to come through, or your pickups have a louder output?

      @@A.A1995 possibly. I’m switching out the Classic Vibe PJ setup for the EMG Geezers to try and fix the issue.
      You are also playing a much more expensive instrument than I am. Mine probably will take some adjusting to get sounding great.

      @@squidwardtortillini8816 you could try a dry DI signal and see if it still sounds boomy. My mids are all the way up when I use this bass otherwise I can't hear myself. Hope you figure it out man, classic vibe pickups are pretty good too, they should be sufficient.
