I seem to recall one of the trailers from the first Destiny where one of the Guardians said, "Play something... classical" and the Ghost starts blaring "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin. Was really disappointed when my Ghost never did that. :(
To be fair the ghost respawning players was a neat way to incorporate respawns into the actual story. Obviously in a game respawns are restricted sometimes so eh. I’m sure if anyone cared about the lore it’d make more sense too😂

the animation and voice acting of the bot was very well done. much better than anything else i've ever encountered with the destiny brand attached to it

That's usually the case. But, we have a unique one, one that defies explanation: Shin Malphur. He never died to get his own Ghost. So, if you do happen to get a Ghost while you're alive you keep all your memories. Otherwise, memory wiped.

The ghost, in fact, can play music. In the Gjallarhorn trailer, the hunter specifically asked the ghost to play music.
