Bro, you’re by far the most genuine and kind soul amongst other house/tech house producers out there. Much love and respect to you from a fellow socal producer. (Not yet full time, but I am working towards it). Thank you !
Thanks for what you do. You know, whenever I think about the future, I think of turning out the way you did. Showing anyone interested in what I learned about this and that. People like you are such a big part of what makes music so good to me, it's just an expression and sharing of joy and art. Good shit mate
This was so incredibly helpful thank you so much for showing tihs to the world. My tracks will be so much better just from watching this video! Thanks a ton!
Big fan of your music and the tutorial videos. Super awesome to share all of this. I think you and zen world have mentioned that you released your vocal rack for free in the past, I am wondering if it is still available somewhere. Not able to find it! Either way thanks for all these details much appreciated!
dude, first of all this is absolutely incredible. but where did you learn everything? did you go to music school? just curious! keep is up I love all of your work and music
Nicee mrr Westend, what do you think of the kick and bass mix, with the kick being cut at 30hz and the bass at 60hz~80hz? Some mix engineers are doing these cuts
So glad you back! I love the breakdowns, but I rather see you making a track from scratch again in an hour, or take more time in the future. But much appreciated! Quick question though, I wanna join your Kick & Bass, but I don´t own a creditcard. Is there any options in the future you guys give a option to pay with Paypal? I can get a Go card, you can add money on it and pay with it like a creditcard, but I rather just pay with Paypal because it´s easier for me atm. Thanks in advance!
Great tutorials, thank you for sharing! Question: What kind of headphones are you using in the videos? Much appreciated if you have time to answer. Thanks again!
Question about your secret top loop. Is that part of your signature sound? Do you put it in most of your tracks? Only reason I ask is I am trying to figure out what makes an artist unique. I tend to reuse certain drum samples/loops and I would be hesitant also to tell people where I got them because in my opinion, it what makes my stuff unique.
It seems the trend now is for producers to avoid splice vocal loops for their main vocals cause all the other producers/labels will recognize the really good loops 😆 Also you didn't bring up the return tracks, so I'll just go out on a limb and guess it's parallel compression/delay/reverb, just to make the song a little bit louder and fuller, add that oomf.
Cool song, but why everything sounding almost mono, 99% of music having much wider stereo base whilst yours is almost all in mono(very very narrow sounding on speakers), or it's because you make music on your phones?
can anyone explain to my why sting doesn't work with my current version of ableton? I have the newest version of standard. It worked on my trial version a few months back but now it just wont work.
i do must imaging in the mix, no real reason to do on the master if you have the whole project infront of you IMO, cant go wrong with a little bit of it in ozone tho
@@itsthewestend amazing! people dont realise the amount of years big guys like you have been at it. And the amount of hours it takes behind the scenes to reach the level you are.
I watch for the tips and stay for the MAN!
haha im not as funny as you bro!

i like the under 30 hz cut for headroom

Damnit a secret top loop. Now I need it 😬
Super dope video! Btw, how's the process of clearing the publishing of the vocals?
tbh i never do it my managers do or the label does
where can I find this project file on the discord? I didn't find it :P btw great work!!

any mixing tips or tutorial?
cheers

its probably ripped of another track, thats why he dosent want to show it or tell where its from
Nice, insightful video. :) Is there an alternative to the Sting 64 Skinnerbox that's not Ableton exclusive? Would love some generator like that.
not sure but i know they are out there
Question: you use one sound for both your top bass and sub? You don't split them at all?
What does the nicky romero side chain do? I’m pretty confused by that part.
massive
Nice track! so if you re-sing a certain accapella you do not have any issues with the author?
no not that simple, i would ask a music laywer
Anyone got a download link for "WESTEND VOCALS-1-1" ableton rack?

splice quality is not great and so much has been used already

maybe in recording it narrowed it will check for next time

work smarter not harder ;)
can anyone explain to my why sting doesn't work with my current version of ableton? I have the newest version of standard. It worked on my trial version a few months back but now it just wont work.
The audio... is that coming from your monitors or from the system audio coming from your microphone?
system audio direct
@@itsthewestend I really butchered that comment but thanks for the reply!
Are you also clipping on individual tracks? or just your busses?
I turn down all my channels in unision when i go to mix
@@itsthewestend Sorry I meant soft clipping haha. Or do you only soft clip on groups because you are going to 0 db on each source track
Does sting work with any other daws or is there a similar style plugin?
You could do this remix without asking the right of the voice sample ?
How did u do the pitch automation in the final build up?
Τέχνη???...It's a Greek Word...ωραίος !!!
How do you get MOIST hi hats like your daddy Claud Von Stroke?
bro which pre-amp ur using for these headphones?

no
