Works like a charm in low-end systems like NES/FAMICOM tested it with Super Mario, however, for SNES I just been testing it with Yoshi´s Island, the game seems to work faster but the mountains behind have a similar effect with "disabled" and "fast", not like SuperMario NES that the tearing was almost fixed (it´s still slightly noticeable) and this effect in the background clearly seen on the clouds its improved a lot, the problem is that plus the feeling that doesn´t fix this tearing effects on Yoshi´s Island I have the additional feeling that I am losing more frames with "fast" that already been lost with "disabled", maybe you or someone else can test it with two consoles, I only have 1 available ATM
@@josevalero3543 wow, nice to see someone really taking this as serious as i did :) nice investigations dude! After further detailed testing, it proofed that the screen tearing fix comes with a slight performance loss. Not much but indeed you can feel it. @@josevalero3543 yea, i love the challenge of making these things faster and more user-friendly :) great you join on this. Let me know about your feedback about it!
I just finished testing the "rotate" option, as you already stated in your video it came with the biggest performance loss, however, it really makes very smooth the video. I recommend users try the 3 options and have in mind which system may benefit from one or the other, I definitively like the "fast" option for NES or old games the best, and I like "disabled" for Yoshi´s Island or "rotate"!! even at the loss of performance is it like the game is easier to "see" in terms of vsync maybe? I will need to try the 3 with SONIC on Megadrive.
@@josevalero3543 i just recommended with the "fast" option since it is the best compromise between accuracy and performance. Unfortunately there is no way to set it per game.
The sf2000 is great for 15 usd. I would still recommend to save some more money and go for the r36s for 30usd if you can afford it. Next step up would be rg35xx or miyoo mini+ for 45usd and finally the trimui smart pro for 60usd.
