I owned exactly the same T-100 model showed here, and I really adore the way bike looks like and it's components, but using it was not so great experience. I live in Munich/Germany and used it for daily commute and weekend tours. Even though it's not heavy bike in tracking category, it felt heavy most of the time. Nexus shifter sounds like a great idea, but shifting is slow and it only has 8 gears, plus the gap between some gears (like 5th and 6th) is pretty big, especially if you're cycling for a very long time on a flat, straight path. I replaced it with Cube Touring One in November 2019 and was very happy with it. One weird thing though, I really like design of all Fahrradmanufaktur bikes, which is why I recently got T-500 as my JobRad (leasing) bike which is payed by my company. But again, I wish I didn't, because despite great Deore shifters and being way lighter than Cube (it's only 14kg, which is super light for this type of the bike), it's super uncomfortable, especially on a gravel which is very common in Munich. It also feels somehow heavy etc. But again, this experience may be just me and my personal preferences, or my wight/height, etc. :)
The german word "Manufaktur" has not the exact same meaning as the english "manufacturer" because it also implies that the product is handmade which in english is not the case as far as i know.
Sounds beautiful. I'm hoping bike commuting becomes the norm here in the USA. My community seems to be making off bike lanes very well. I only see riders occasionally doing recreational riding on the bike paths, but bike lanes look unused..
My preference for a city kike is a Reid 56 cm 700 wheelset w/ 35mm Schwalbe Marathon Plus, 1x7 46×14-28t w/Delta Mega Rack, Ortlieb Bikepacker 25L Sport panniers, Cygolite 350l HL/5w Hotshot TL combo, Basil Portland Bell, Park MTB-3 multi, Park chain tool w/links, steel tire levers, patchkit, tube, first aid kit, Topeak Road Morph framepump, Brooks B17, Raceface grips, Shimano dual-sided clipless pedals, stock mudguards, wb cage. Does everything necessary for my commute. Also, I have a fixed gear with mudguards, rack and a trunkbag. 250L front w/a 100L TL. Basil Portland Bell w/a Brooks B17. Use it for moderate terrain.

True words!
the nuance is "artisan".
Great bike! Came here hoping to see some side-on video footage of the riding position, oh well.

It's the equivalent of the T series thinkpad ;)
Thanks! Next do a video on the S-300!
