It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s a little sketchy & far from comfortable. It’s no secret here in Perth as the winter weather fronts roll in so to do huge pink Snapper to feed of food knocked off the harbour walls an surrounding areas. A lot of guys here put in many many hours freezing there a$$ off for that elusive land based snapper, and I happen to be one of them 😅 I didn’t hit my target on this mornings session but I’ll be back when the next storm rolls through putting in my best effort again. Regardless I had a great ( cold & wet ) but great morning out on the rocks with a magical sunrise and rainbow as my back drop. Hoping you can learn something from this video or just enjoy it for what it is… Most of all stay safe out there & if in doubt don’t go out no fish is worth a life.. enjoy all 🎣😎🎥⛈🌈

Yeap haha I was itching for a fish an with the swell right up like that I wasn’t brave enough to send it out there, glad I didn’t either coz when the wind changed it got nasty really quick haha
Nice change of pace. Love the boat but also enjoy the occasional rocks landbased. Soaking a bait in miserable weather is somehow therapeutic. Better luck next time, would make a great video, don't see many landed on the Tube. Tight lines
Cheers bro I also love land based an I reckon it looks awesome on film but just a lot harder to catch fish witch makes it tricky having a fishing channel haha 😂 oh man & I know what you mean as “horrible” and raw as it is out there in rough conditions it’s really beautiful an somewhat calming an just gives you a different kind of energy, love it. Good on ya Jack for putting the effort in. The guys down here in Busselton are all out on the beaches and rock walls in the blow you had the night before. It seems to pay off but im getting soft as i mature. Rather go out in the boat on a nice calm water. Good luck mate.
Cheers man, going back a few years now landbased was my grind I use to head out most evenings after work rain hail or shine I was mad for it, not guna lie iv def got a little more “soft” with it all now an def perfer a glass off over a storm haha. Although I do like to try land at least one landbased snap each year so I gota put that work in to tick that little goal of mine haha 😆 😅 thanks for watching mate ✅
Was down there last night, mate dropped one right at the rocks when we went to gaff it. Was a good fish too.
