    0:00 setting up regen
    0:29 my battery is 15AH so I’m starting with 10a/15a regen and all speeds set to 100%.
    0:35 first test with no regen.
    1:01 now set Throttle release regen on and test again.
    1:08 notice how the motor runs in reverse a few short bursts.
    2:12 need to reboot controller first
    2:43 set the lowest RPM to 0% and second lowest to 50%.
    2:51 now we test again.
    3:08 mow its ready for road test to get regen amps set optimally and then adjust the percents down from 100% if any specific RPM regen it too much.

    Please help, i've setting regen brake release throtle, it works but when i run at speed more than 40km/h i can use my throttle until it speed reach below 40km/h, please advice

      @@TheKrizzna what are your energy regenerate settings? If you can make a screen recording of your settings and post it to your channel I can take a look.
      Or you can tell me all the settings in Energy Regenerate.

    I have been finding your videos informative. I have been struggling with my controller in the regen settings as I cannot go over 10A in Stopback current and 20A in Maxback current which is frustrating. When I try I get the "please use new ble module" pop up! Same goes with the rpm precentages where I can't go higher than -30%. Because of both of these issues I have very little regen, 10A maximum. My supplier hasn't really helped me, wondering if you would be able to share your supplier or suggest to what you think is stopping my settings?

      Sometimes you can get around that error by disconnecting and reconnecting the app to the Fardriver. Make sure your app is registered and that you have internet connection on your phone because sometimes it won’t let me change anything unless I have internet connection. Bind the fardriver to your phone and that might also help.
      If that doesn’t help, make a screen recording or some screenshots of all your settings and reset the fardriver and do all the settings over and normally that works because it clears all the trash out of the settings.

      @@imho7250 Hey thanks, I have done everything in the first paragraph. How do you reset the Fardriver? I feel like there might be different bluetooth modules out there and I have been sold an older one.
      My other issue is sometimes in hard acceleration the bike cuts power and I have to come to a stop before it resets. Same on the test stand where it revs to max speed then dies and has to stop to reset. My old 96850 didn't have this problem, this one is a 961200.

    • @imho7250
      @imho7250  8 месяцев назад

      @@moriwaki80 , that BLE message is pretty common. If you can change and save settings it should be ok. They made a lot of updates to the app which make it more finicky but I guess it’s to improve security so that nobody can pull up next to you and change all your settings when you’re parked somewhere lol.
      To reset the controller, in the Paras tab you will see “Restore”. Click that and there should be a factory settings. Sometimes there are also other settings for common bikes but just use factory default and then you can run autolearn again and then manually change the settings you want to modify.
      If the controller is cutting out prime suspect is low voltage. Either the BMS is cutting out and then the Fardriver LVP cuts in or your battery voltage setting and LVP on the fardriver is set too high.
      The 96850 is 450a max and the 961200 is 600a DC max, so if you are using more than 450a make sure you aren’t getting severe voltage sag, either in battery itself or at the fardriver due to undersized cables and connectors.
      If you screen record your fardriver gauges and do whatever causes the cutout, it might show the error causing it. You can also get error if the PID settings are too aggressive.
      If you have a Bluetooth bms you can see if you are tripping the BMS due to a weak brick. Whatever battery can feed a 961200 should definitely have a Bluetooth BMS. Basically thats a 26S20P Molicel p42a or greater pack and the cost is so high that the BMS is dirt cheap in comparison.

    when i try to change motor polepairs it give me error like ' please use new BLE module' how to remove this error?

    • @imho7250
      @imho7250  Год назад

      Normal that means you just need to restart the app and reconnect with Bluetooth. Typically when you try to change pole pairs it either accepts it if supported and you see it change, or it rejects it and stays the same. The BLE module notification typically means you lost communication between your phone and fardriver.
      If you are continuously getting that error you might need to register the app and bind it to the controller. They recently updated the app and if you use that it asks you to login. So you enter your email and click the button next to the code box and check your mail for the 6 digit code, then enter that code and click “register “. After that, connect to your controller with Bluetooth and bind the controller to your phone.

    Very useful tip...my wheel does the same thing. If i put the lowest RPM % at 0 then will the regen actually still work in other RPM fields??

    • @imho7250
      @imho7250  Год назад

      Yes, in fact to get it to totally stop reversing i needed 50% in the second setting as well, you can tweak yours until it gives you the best results.
      The higher you set the regen current, the more noticeable this reversing effect is, so get that dialed in at the same time. Mine is only 10a/15a regen but its a very light bike with weak battery. When i get my high current battery made i might try slightly higher settings. But i always set regen as if the streets are wet because without variable regen if you need to stop on wet pavement you can’t modulate it.
      I have all higher rpm at 100% regen but its designed to allow you to soften regen anywhere in the rpm range you need. My motor seems to give good regen at all speeds when set 0%, 50%, then 100% for all the rest.
      If your battery is fully charged, and OVP is set at 4.2v or lower, the regen might reach OVP. So you can set the ANT OVP to 4.350v and that will give a little more room for the fardriver to regen until you consume some energy in the battery. This affects me because my battery is low drain, so it not only saga likw crazy during acceleration, it surges like crazy during regen. My P42A battery should soak up regen like a sponge so hopefully i can leave OVP at 4.200v-4.250v

      @MrDeceptacon88 Год назад

      @imho7250 yes I did. I always manually touch the auto balance function on the app. Its still taking a while but I think it will be done today. I will keep you updated :)))

    • @imho7250
      @imho7250  Год назад

      @@MrDeceptacon88, if you got your hobby charger out first day it takes a few hours to balance. Jist start with lowesr brick, charge it until it equals the lowest adjacent brick, then connect those two in series and charge them up until they catch up to their neighbors. Then 3s, then 4s, and when needed move to another spot in the pack.
      The hardest part os calculating voltage surge during the charge. So i note voltage before chsrging, then about 15 seconds after charging begins i check voltage rise. Lets say its 0.2v higher. So then i change that up until its 0.2v higher that the next cell, so when i turn off the charger, it subsides and now very close to the Target voltage.
