- The extraordinary mass burial site on Ridgeway Hill excavated in June 2009 during the earthwork operation for the Weymouth relief road continues to reveal its secrets, isotope analysis of executed individuals from the mass burial has revealed that they are likely to have originated from a variety of places within the Scandinavian countries.
This animation is a Multiple View Reconstruction; many photographs have been taken of the feature from as many different angles as possible and combined in software to produce a 3D model. The model was then animated, and rendered in 3D analgyph mode, to produce this fly-through view. You will need a pair of Red / Cyan 3D glasses to view this video in 3D; if you do so on a suitable display in a darkened room the model should appear in black and white.
