The problem with awards shows, where to put Carrie's performance. When they put her performance first, they lose the audience. Because a lot of fans want to watch her perform. Some say her diva persona. Heck, no. Carrie is just that good. And the fans know it. Audiences get mad when she is last to perform.
AMAZING!! Wish she had performed at this year's AMAs. I don't bother to watch them, but from the videos posted, they're awful and didn't hold a light to this. Also, Carrie's rendition of I Will Always Love You is far better than the one this year at the AMAs :P
can someone PLEASE tell me what performance of hers it was where she wore a big white dress and there was like, a light show ON the dress??

Carrie kind if gives out low expectations of songs. What I mean by that. Carrie and co-writers wrote this song. She thought it was a fun, dark song, which she hope it would be single, but not be popular. But she got shocked by how well it took off and became a blockbuster hit. And then she asked permission of Stephen King to book concept for the video. He said yes, and interested what Carrie and P.J. Brown had in mind.
A lot of young artists have learn a lesson. They heard Justin Bieber makes his comments about Carrie. Saying he wasn't sure about Carrie. If you are not sure about an certain artist. Just say that. Because this performance surprised him. Of course, most young artists want to perform like Carrie does and get the same reaction, she does. I would say to that, don't try it. Not many veteran artist try to match Carrie. They know it isn't worth.
So she might have been a bit pitchy at the start of the song, but boy was this a performance
